Stray kitten taken to home and bathed

First things first. We named Uni's sister Nami ☺️ Since kittens were rescued from the sea side we wanted a name related to the sea. Nami means wave in Japanese.
Uni and Nami's first meeting didn't go as expected. Although Nami was friendly, Uni became nervous and hissed at her sister. We are working on that and we had a good progress. Everything will be fine and I will update you later about their relation.
To give Nami a fresh start we wanted to bath her first and the last time. She is shining now :) #kittenfirstbath

Never really cared for cats. One day a kitten was outside my door crying n shaking with pus in her eyes. My heart broke but she ran off. My niece asked if she could find it and bring her in. I said I wasn't sure but she brought her any way lol she opened the door, the kitten ran into my room, crawled on my chest and fell asleep purring. I instantly fell in love with her. Got her taken care of with a vet. That was 8 months ago and still have her. She filled a little void I had in my heart. Cats are truly special creatures.

It depends on the cat. You are right if the cat is friendly, cuddly and gentle. However, I have a cat in mind that was just plain crazy and a pain in the neck. We returned it after a week.

But I got antibacterial hand soap, and Lysol spray. Another case of the virus found in New York. Is a man that works in Manhattan, but lives in Westchester(Upstate New York) He is in a Manhattan hospital.

As a special treat after a bath/shower most cats LOVE a towel or two straight out of the clothes dryer. Reminds them of their mothers/siblings warmth from when they were young. Plus it just feels nice regardless of any underlying experiences. Even if they're not cold and wet they go wild for it.

il never forget the day I brought my cat home from the shelter her former owner abandoned her the 7 adopted families abandoned her and return her the same day they adopted her the night brought her home found in my living room in a corner shaking and meowing I sat on the floor she slowly came to me laid in my lap looked at me with tears in her eyes as if to ask me r u my forever mommy and purred until she fell asleep 3 1/2 years later we are still a family 🥰

Really good video. I'm surprised by how calm the cat was in the shower. I was even more surprised that after all the handling, drying and brushing, she still sought out the lap of the person in the video. I thought for sure it would hide for a while to calm down and relax.

She's sooooo cute! ❤️ Take both kittens to the vet as soon as possible and get them spayed, vaccinated and chipped. Then you're all set to have the best life together! ❤️ As long as you don't spay the kittens, they may become unfriendly to each other and fight and that'll get worse over time. It's not the kittens fault if they do. It's the (sex)hormones telling them to fight and be territorial to each other. As soon as they'll be spayed, they will become better friends. Good luck with them! ❤️

@@supernova7848 If they fight it's better to keep them separated for a while in different rooms with a net door between them, until they've been spayed and healed up properly. They should be relaxed in front of each other, before they remove the net door.

@@SleeplessinOCIf they've reached the age of 4 months old (weighing min 2 kg), it's ok. It's better to do it early than later. If you wait too long you might get a cat peeing all over your house and also keeping you up day and night, by calling out for a tomcat to mate with. It's a myth that you have to wait until 6 months old or that your cat has to have a litter of kittens first. There's recent research showing that.

A shower stall like yours is the perfect place to bathe a cat. No where for them to run. I use a sponge for the rinse and wet and don’t bother trying to keep them in the pan.
