Neighbors told us she was barking every time someone was parking his car or walked near.
One thing is sure , no one wanted her around.
We were informed by a person who lives in the building.
Mother and babies will stay under our care and when they are old enough we will find adoptions.
Our goal will be the mother as she is very insecure and that makes things harder.

I was thinking the same thing, that someone had cruelly taken a prior littler of puppies, maybe when they were too young, so now the momma is terrified of any human coming near her puppies. Maybe even something worse could've happen in the past, it's clear their is past trauma for this mommy. I'm sure Erimoni will win this little lady over in time.

👍la voisine ne s'en est même pas occuper et peut-etre même qu'elle l'a mise dehors.. quand comprendrons nous que nous sommes TOUS responsables des chiens et des chats puisque nous les avons fabriqués par sélections successives jusqu'à ce qu'ils n'aient plus la violence nécessaire pour survivre seuls abandonnés ! With a muzzle she will not bark or bite you. You will be able to pet her and show her your love. Thank you Ermioni for all you do.

You cannot feed a dog with a muzzle. Sometimes, they cannot even drink. With a muzzle, she cannot even lick her puppies. Please do not do such things if you are in the same situation. There is no urgency. It is easier to let her realise she is with friends. To put ON the muzzle, you are far more likely to be bitten AND to make dog not trust you. These women are very experienced. Rely on them not to put unnecessary pressure on these dogs.

Ermioni, you always show so much love and time for the momma dog to learn to trust. The puppies are so beautiful, so is their momma. The momma will take much more time, I've seen other animal rescuers use a stick with a glove on it to help the scared dog to learn to trust touching, maybe this could help in this case. I do donate every other month as I donate to other charities, and May is the month I donate to you. Thanks for everything you do, all the endless hours of love and back breaking work. Dear Ermioni, I love this Mama doggy so much, she has beautiful eyes and she is worried about the safety of her pups. Please give us regular updates on this lovely dog family, I would very much like to see this Mama warming up and worrying less. And I would like to see more of her children as they grow up.

Maybe giving her a name might help me unless she has been stray and homeless her whole life. She is beyond scared......she is terrified! She will respond to good treatment and watching her babies grow healthy and fed well. I too believe she will respond to you and your care and kindness. She may have had something horrible happen to her in her past as a homeless stray. She may have scars from fighting or being treated that you can't see because of her thick coat. Time and care will win eventually. I hope she is able to develop some trust sooner than later, but time will tell. She seems to not yet trust she is safe, but she is watching you and allowing you to pick up her babies, even though isn't happy about it yet.

This is a lovely and good mama dog. She is small but she barks if a human approches her babies, and twice she even tried to bite Ermioni. Bravo, brave little Mama.
