There are 2 other games just like this where you play an animal, find your way though a world with no people and uncover the truth! I highly recommend them to you and anyone who enjoyed Stray! So many questions left: did B12 survive the main software or was it the software with no security protocols in place at the end? Where is Yam’s family? How many robots will leave and how many will stay? Why did some robots evolve and other robots stayed the same? Why did the eyeballs not explode in UV? What are the eyes going to do? Will the Zurks spread underground? Will the non uv plants survive their new environment? What about the other 98 walled cities???!!!!!!! Such fun. Thank you for sharing your play through.

I think this story is closed. Unlike many comments, i don't see a continuation. The ending is quite good, this is a post apocalyptic sci-fi story. Think about it, the machines were left running alone for hundreds of years, whatever happened to the humans, we may never know. This gave the kind of feeling of Half-life and Portal, quite the interesting journey from start to finish.

Since the beginning, the mean security system had red wrinting, I really think that was B12's screen glitching at the very end. Turning on right as Yam passes by like ate the beginning.

So apparently the ginger gene for cats is attached to the x chromosome, so females need to have it on both x chromosomes for the colour to show up, meaning about 75% of ginger cats are male.

This also results in black and ginger calico cats mostly being female, since they need one x chromosome with the ginger Gene and one x chromosome with the black gene. Male cats can't have that coloring, unless they have a gene mutation (klinfelter syndrome), which also results in them being infertile. Because of that it's impossible to breed calico cats, which makes them quite rare.

27:34 you remarked on how they had so much power still. Look up diamond batteries. They're a form of nuclear battery made from C14 extracted from graphine blocks used in nuclear cores. It slowly releases beta particles over time. Well this can be used to create electricity, for roughly 23,000 years, without ever having to be charged. If this is set in the future, it's not a stretch that half the power was fusion, and the other half, diamond batteries.

Kinda sad ending but I think they left it open at the end so they could make a second game. Finding the kitty family, maybe other animals that survived and possibly helping the robot friends get used to the outdoors. Who knows? Maybe be a rescue cat for when the robots are dumb and wander too far without a repair kit, lol. 😂 Well, at least this part of the playthrough was only slightly traumatizing and not nightmare inducing like the last one. 😅 I wonder if you'll try playing again with the mod or if you'll go back to modded Minecraft or another game now. 🤔 Inquiring minds want to know. 😉

👍Prank ideas👍 Switch to a different game. Hide both chairs and just stand there like nothing is different. (Before streaming: Get a small bag of cheetos, eat them and fill it up with regular chips. Pretend to open it and set it down for other person to eat. Make a fake lifesize you and put it in your chair then hide. Turn off all lights. Replace water with milk (will have to do ahead of time obviously.) Person taking the break... turn your shirt and pants inside out and walk back in like nothing is different. Have a really nice wrapped gift just sitting at their spot. Can have something nice in it or nothing.😋 Good luck.

I am around a lot of cats and i personally only know one female ginger. Although she is mostly white. And there are breeds like the Turkish angora that have occasional ginger genes with more frequent female occurrences. :D

For stray two I want the plot to be how the cat reunites with its buddies and get a robot body to put B12’s memory in so they can live happily together.

I think there is a big possibility that all the companion robots were once humans. Since their physical bodies would be susceptible to the plague, they came up with a way to upload their minds and personalities into robots. In some cases, things went terribly wrong. B12 wound up in the Main Frame. But did you recall their was a broken robot in the back room where the cat found the drone? The robot was slumped next to a pod that had cables and was mysteriously oozing. Throughout the game there are more oozy pods here and there with broken robots or just empty pods. At the Antvillage, B12 remembers his true identity in front of one of those pods. A robot there also recites the following poem: "Thee, mighty concrete, shielding me in its womb, shall you also be my tomb?" If you think of the pods where the humans fled into desperately trying to save their lives in some way? None of the robots seem to remember that they were once human--either something that happened during the transfer (maybe it was such a traumatic process to go through, the knowledge of once being flesh-and-blood was erased from their memories---or the scientists did the memory erase out of mercy, but those memories were still stored somewhere for the day the city would open and they could leave. This is why B12 was able to recover his even though he probably lost more of the memories than others. I hope there is a Stray2 where the robots and Stray and his cat family are reunited in some way. Either the robots encountered the cats as some venture out of the city to explore what is left of the world, or the cats go back to the robots and lead them some place where they can resettle in the outside. Not sure. There are no more Zurks, but there should be some sort of antagonists of some kind. Don't like the cat being hurt (or killed) though.

The ending leaves it open for more. I really hope they decide to continue the story, though I won't be mad if they never do. Stray was a fantastic game that'll stick with me for a long time. I also believe that B-12 is still alive in the network. Also, when you were looking for the Antvillage above the city, I believe that it's below the upper city and behind that giant wall so we can't see it. I could be wrong, but that's the impression I got.

I’ve got a little kitty, she technically belongs to the family but that doesn’t matter. She is a Calico Manx and only weighs about 6 pounds. She has a perfect build and is a show level cat… but if she doesn’t claw out your eyes or bite you ankles when you walk in the same room you won’t get to see her. She was feral and still it and we call her murder mittens. Of course all jokes aside she’s really sweet now and loves to be with you during your morning coffee although if you stop petting her you might get attacked.

Calico are ALMOST always female - now and then you find a male and normally they are sterile. At the cat shows, there was a male called Mr. Calico - he did father some kittens, but they didn't live long. He died before I started showing in the HHP (house hold pet) division. Orange (also called red) cats are usually male. Oh, and grey cats, no matter their breed, are called blue - I always wanted a 'mouse grey' cat but when I went to show him, I found out his color was blue and my tan cat was actually cream. (gee, they have to make it complicated, don't they?) Oh and calico and tortoiseshell (looks like a calico's colors were stirred together) are red unless their colors are 'washed out,' then they are called dilute.
