Thank you for actualy showing what to do. So many other youtubers show a game but dont show you how they did it.

That became my obsession a few years back. Some youtuber showed The Forest in VR, long before that game's VR edition came out. Video had no explanation as to how the VR was working, didn't say if the 3D was working, etc... just pure cancer fodder. I promised myself I'd never become that content disease.

I love your take on what games look like in UEVR/VR

Thanks! I don't have that many picks, but I'm glad to see the handful I'm checking out work this good. If only they could expand to UE3, the floodgates would break open!

HIgh on Life was incredible in VR. Highly recommend.

Very much noted. Always wanted to try that one with some kinda VR.

We can't stress it enough: These kind of games (3rd person platformers) work perfect in VR! I did a completely playthrough in _Stray_ and Hellblade II and had two of the best VR experiences yet (if somebody want my optimized UEVR config file, just ask here). It's such a lost chance that Sony didn't brought that to PSVR2...
@Stereo3DPlays4 ай бұрын
Damn straight! I could not have said it better! Have you tried the original Hellblade's VR version as well? That one is native VR, third person - about as good an implementation as UEVR... that game blew me away and I would have completely spoiled it had I played it on ancient, flat tech like a monitor. Some of those scenes are so POWERFUL with the stereoscopic visuals and full visual immersion!

Yikes to those framedrops. Good thing it didn't affect the in headset video.

Yeah during the first section with all the waterfalls and foliage we were treated to some good, solid powerpoint presentations. It's jarring to play this normally and not notice anything, then see this atrocious footage that totally doesn't represent what you actually experienced!

PcVR Mods are very Time consuming to find the balance. I am often not sure if a play the Game or with setups.😅
@Stereo3DPlays4 ай бұрын
This literally took under 60 seconds to setup and it's not even a mod. REFramework also takes about 60 seconds to setup. I agree 60 seconds is really too much time to ask, that's almost as long as installing the game! Whew!

@@Stereo3DPlays I have no idea, they say Stray has performance problems. And we're talking about the flat version here. Or you have a very strong GPU, a lot of experience, or are happy with lower settings. You usually spend a long time playing around with the options if these criteria don't apply. The Discord channel of VR Mods is usually overflowing with setup help and tips.

@@G.Yam74 Yes always try to narrow down to the pinned messages in the Discords, I'll admit the information is straight up overwhelming. However normally if you consult a youtube guide like the ones on my main channel, you should be on your way as quickly as possible. We mess around with the options so you don't have to 😉

Stray was really cool but lost me early on. I want a realistic kitty cat game with controls somewhere between Tony Hawk/Dark Souls/ and a fighting game. Give me the full disrespect for physics and lighting fast movement that kitty cats actually have. That would be a badass game.
@Stereo3DPlays5 ай бұрын
Well, at least in VR if the mechanics lose you the visuals would keep you going! LOL I'll admit at least a claw swipe would have been cool. Tell me those ticks wouldn't pop at the slightest contact with a sharp object 😁
