Stray - Time Machine

Good grief ..watching that montage of events was like watching my teenage years unwind in slow motion! So many of those bands i saw at the time.. so many good times! And yes good old Stray with Steve Gadd , Del Bromham & Co. with their pyrotechnic stage show 6 times at least. So many stories from back in the day 1970/1...from Free to Taste to Floyd and many of the above. Happy days.😊

The posters are a reminder of so many of the bands that I was lucky enough to see at the Winter gardens, Penzance, in the 70's. The big missed opportunity for me is Atomic Rooster. Stray were always magnificent, Saturday morning pictures a great album.

This takes me back to the Chalk Farm Roundhouse one Sunday afternoon a long time ago.Bought the first album on the strength of their live performance that day. Really enjoyed it

Saw this on last fm. Remember great nights at the star hotel in croydon and many of the other places shown. All the memories came flooding back. I never realized I saw so many groups at so many venues. I had forgotten most of them and the great times I had then. Ahh where is that fucking time machine. Jecat at last fm.

Hi - Tks for this Upload. My first " big Audiance Concert " where TEN YEARS AFTER and their Support STRAY in ( i think 1971/ ) at Bremen. Wow, i`ll never forget.

Interesting to see Farx Potters Bar. I used to go to the Farx Club in the Northcote Arms in Southall on Sunday nights and saw Stray there more than once.

Used to go to the Farx in Southall most Sundays. Also went to Aquarius on a Thursday evening at The White Hart. Great days long gone now.

Saw them as openers at the Farx club Potters Bar I think for Edgar Broughton but they were back a few weeks top of the bill awesome band !!

Shame there’s no live performances of Stray, the LP’s could never match them play live with the light show and the smoke, saw them at least 10 times in 1969/1970

I saw Stray at Alexandra Palace in 1974 when they were support for Groundhogs and Black Sabbath.Shame about their PA system being rubbish or they would have been good. never mind as Black Sabbath more than made up for the poor sound that Stray had.
