I actually think cell should have been the baseline of balance for this game. I don't play him but balance wise I think he's the most fair to fight. Sadly I would agree he needs a buff not because he's weak but just survivors got so much more obnoxious with the barrier, instant transmission, firewall, bike perks ect. I think cell felt better in season 1 before a lot of the survivor skills becoming so meta. Sadly raiders kinda need to be on the OP side if you're gonna add broken survivor skills, which is a shame. I'd have loved for the barrier to get a nerf or survivors not to have cell's evasive skill and raiders overall to stay more balanced like buu and cell but yeah. As things are I think cell and buu can't keep up so well and often just get jumped and killed because survivors are too strong, so maybe giving them some buffs to keep up with freiza and vegeta would be good? Honestly tough to say. They did not plan the power creep in this game well.

If barrier gets a nerf it should be to how it comboes with other skills. On it's own it's fine for its CD. Maybe stop survivors from using bike or bubblehearthing with instant transmission while it's active.

Hey! Just to answer your question of why you were losing some of those melee to melee interactions: The player with the higher change level will win the melee, you only tie if you are the same level! He was lvl 4 to your lvl 2 Hope this helps!

Unique to Raider > Survivor, you can't even combo a raider who's higher level unless he's already in hitstun.

As a cell main you have to use your quick evolutions to overwhelm the survivors and you have to make sure to blow up areas when you can, but in my experience if you go too fast people will hide the whole game so make sure to take your time and when you get someone make sure you down them, like in your first game for example I would've downed the level 4 and thirsted there where a few other times you could've but didn't, I also like using cells after image to cut people off if there running, but if you blow up the right areas and thirst when your supposed to you can stop people end game trying to run in the escape time machine.

Survivors are VERY LOUD. I usually just listen to them, since nobody runs On Guard except me, they never know the raider's near until they're audible.

They need to add healing, give cell hp breakpoints at every 10% So if he is at 83% health he will heal up to his breakpoint which is 90% and it will make sense canonically because cell has a healing factor Or make his level 4 perfect form weaker, and if he gets killed you see an animation of him regenerating from a single cell and getting a zenkai boost

Sup! Great vids btw. There's only two things I felt you could've done to improve your situation here, although they would've only marginally improved your chances considering the type of survivors you got (I hate energy field btw). 1. When they were summoning shenron, you should've snipped with your super, the altar doesn't block supers, so it should've hit. Mind you from there it would've devolved into a fight between them trying to get the wish or you fighting for it, terrible situation regardless. 2. cancel after image into solar flare. I'll typically try this when survivors are trying to rush me with melee attacks, it works 2 out of 3 times if they're either not waiting for it or shooting a rocket. I feel like it is one of cells best combos, but it's very situational like most of his kit.

Nice job with these runs and on an unrelated note it was fun being survivor team with you yesterday. Still relatively new to breakers but doing my best to help out the team as a whole when I'm survivor even if it means the raider ends up bullying me more.

You biggest mistake on the first match was not finishing off one more survivor. Or would have been much easier to beat them all with level 3 cell. His volley attack would have made short work of them.

Cell is not the worst raider in the game, but buu is levels 1 and 2 get stomped by good aggressive or passive teams.

Stray why do you use special beam cannon on level 2 cell instead of full power energy wave? Raider is different on survivor and on raiders, Full power energy wave is faster and does more damage than S.B.C.

They gotta buff my guy Cell they either gotta change his Level 3 Ki blast or they gotta shorten the finish off animations for my guy because he is way too exposed to survivors when he tries to eat someone

And people will stay scream "Buff survivors" lol. Like if anything the game needs skill based matchmaking so team synergy isnt trash due to being linked with level 20's. I really do feel like the only thing holding me back in games are lack of good teammates being in my matchmaking Edit: Great ape Vegeta is very problematic for survivors though.

That first game was the equivalent of being outclassed in a fight, but being the crowd favorite because you kept fighting till you got KO'd.

I feel like buu is the weakest in terms of getting ganked early, vegeta’s the weakest when the team is coordinating because he doesn’t have much area power until level 4 and overall takes the most damage compared to others, Cell is just the vanilla baseline that’s just okay, and Freeza is the strongest due to just consistent power. Do keep in mind that it’s just my opinion.

Cell is fun for sure but he struggles the most late game against a good team, that's probably why he's my lowest level at 42 lol
