They've stated in a live stream in the past that is harder to do Android because of all the different firmware or OS Android uses. Or something like that. They kept everything apple because it's 1 os on all their devices, they share that 1 singular ecosystem.

its in development currently. And there has always been an android app. Right now it simply doesnt have the extra features and the lifetime pay once plan updated. There is the following video and they state towards the end that they are goign to be updating the Playstore APP.
