I received this as a Christmas gift this past Christmas. Game changer for my gaming live stream. I love it. I use it with out shoes on to better feel the ridges. Much easier with just socks. I switch between game lobby screen to gaming screen much easier and I remember for some reason. Is it a must have? No! But the convince and ease of use is a fantastic addition to my channel. Highly recommend. As always great review buddy👍👍

Any guitar or bass player will tell you that any time you need to trigger something while your hands are busy, pedals just rock. Some programmers I know about have hacked together “clutch” pedals to trigger modifers in their code editors while they use their hands to select, move, or modify content in the files they work on. This is a niche tool, for sure, but it hits a sweet spot if you need it.

Hi, I livestream corporate training, using many different elements to make it immersive. The Streamdeck Pedal is really useful to advance the PowerPoint slides, which releases my hand for other elements of the training

I used a set of pedals (ProPedals CH) that I already had for my flight simulator. I use HIDMacros (free software) to capture the game axis (x, y and Z axis) data. The change on each of the game axis values can trigger custom visual basic scripts that trigger events in OBS via websocket. Elgato have made it easy and for around $100 it's a fairly good deal. However if you have any usb game controller that gets identified by Windows as a game controller, you can make your own if you search enough videos on the technique.

Although I am well into the Elgato and Corsair Universe, I’ve never really considered this as I don’t sit at a table or desk, but at a floor goban to stream the Game of Go.

@@MichaelFeyrerJr Well, I already use two 15 key Stream Decks (a 1st gen and a 2nd gen) and am switching or adding a SD+ to my setup when I get my new computer built, so I’ve got things covered.

I stand while streaming. I tried using the pedal and I could not find a way to integrate the pedal without having to look down at the ground. Does it work better if you sit and stream? I am guessing it would be easier to find the pedal.
