So amazing. Im so excited to get one. Getting creative with it and programming the shortcuts seems fun.

eagerly awaiting for the jupyter one

I still have to do this one. But thanks! I'm waiting because Jupyter doesn't do as well on surfacing hotkeys. Looking for a way to do more.

Can you also add code snippets ?

Use Autohotkey to trigger by Streamdeck and add code snippets.

Hey Michael, is this one of the new short series? You might want to add it to your KZbin playlist for those.

Hey Luke! Thanks a bunch. I could probably fit in that series but I didn't plan on making it part of them.

Hey Michael, it looks like the file is named 'macos-PyCharm.streamDeckProfile' is this profile only compatible with Mac's and not windows?

can't wait to get one for programming as well

There are a lot of uses you can find for this thing if you keep your eyes open. I have an excellent page for Zoom meetings. One for things like toggling do not disturb mode on my Apple things, etc.

I have a disability. So I work one handed. My stream deck is a must have replacement for all those 2 handed shortcuts. Levelled up my GIT game ten fold ❤ so funny watching people when I demo something. They cant understand how quick my command inputs are 😂

You can do all that wit keyboard. And you will not need to lift your hands off keyboard...
@mikeckennedy2 жыл бұрын
Of course. The goal of the video isn't to show you how to do things not possible with the keyboard. But rather to make things that are hard to remember or cumbersome to do with the keyboard as easy as a pressing a visual button (e.g. toggling column vs. regular edit mode).
@lifebarier2 жыл бұрын
@@mikeckennedy But even that is really easy and more optimal (in intellij) to do with keyboard thanks to their search everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I was looking for a reason to get streamdeck for development for couple years now, but I just don't see any improvement (and trust me I am looking for such reason - that is how I found your video).

@@lifebarier I use my streamdeck for the debugger. Better than remembering 15 shortcuts.
