I played HG few weeks back and everytime we got boarded in that fight, both me and my friend got insane ping, so it can happen. Obviously that wasn't the case here but I can kind of understand why they accused them of cheating. I have never encountered players this good and would be completely lost as to how they did quite a few things if I didn't watch these guys's perspective. They did use game exploits even though they definitely didn't need it

Well i have seen poeoples indeed using some sort of exploits to make you lag or tank your FPS etc.. but usually it happen when you board their ship .. I have seen laggy boarders tho that are nearly unkillable due to them teleporting and or Hit reg messing up ! This game is truely fun but insanely unstable and exploited !

That's an issues with EU servers I believe. Not sure when a fix is coming, but if you get a free VPN (like Windscribe or proton) you can vpn to another place in the world and you'll have game chat

Such a fun game but as a solo slooper avoiding combat is all we can really ever do. I'd love to do more or feel more confident but I played for the first time the other day and after running from a reaper for 12 minutes the game kicked me out and then reconnected me - due to this I sailed straight into a storm and got caught. Multiple other times I've had fights with people and they're just choppy, almost blinking around. This I think makes the game super frustrating when you lose in combat. Hours of work for a lay fest of a fight sucks. So I can see why they're mad. Though, I've no idea how they don't know about the splash sound when someone boards you... even I know that and I only just got pirate legend today... Great content from you guys, you actually play really well which is cool. Didn't like the ladder exploit but then again I have to wonder if its technically the same category as the sword dash jump. Still ggs.

You just have to remember that it's a funny pirate game with pixel rewards. If you go into the game only wanting loot, it will never be fun for you. I get the game is frustrating at times, but just think about how the game is not about the loot you get or the gold you earn, but the experience itself of playing the game. the one that managed to sneak on the boat should've waited for you to board them (while they were still damaging you), and then one-blunder your friend, and keep the sloop sinking. it would've probably killed you next, and boom, loot would've been theirs
