I'm 32 and I've heard it said since I was little. So I can imagine it was used long before my time it's a generic statement. Even looking it up, it says he coined the term; parents, siblings, anyone speaking to an annoying child would have said those exact words thousands of times before. Especially in England, I grew up on a council estate and heard parents shouting it at their children pretty frequently. I've even said it plenty of times when someones pissed me off.
