Lower KD games in a competitive setting is to be expected as people are just more careful and generally take less risks (for obvious reasons).. the issue is that they have literally been playing each other online in competition and more or less been performing like they would while playing casual lobbies, while still being cautious in their decision making (playing the same in terms of aim and map awareness, which is the complete opposite on lan). Generally you do not constantly loose mechanical ability like this just because it's in a controlled setting, you have instances where they just run right out and completely miss people or straight up just don't hear footsteps (when you can literally hear them clomping around in the stream itself, even when it's a pov stream). While at home pinpointing a single player standing in a building on the other side of the map/area with zero information and then b-lining toward them.. not even mentioning the incredibly easy shots they are REGULARLY missing all of a sudden (literally going from insta glued tracking from home regardless of situation to barely being able to track people running in a straight line on lan is not exactly the best look). It's getting ridiculous at this point.

The KDs in a professional match with professional players should have some dominating and some being stomped into the ground (this goes for any game/sport). But in these tournaments - if the KDs all seem to stagnate and not have visible differences, there's a problem. *NATURALLY* some in that tournament should be wiping their boots off from the others they've stomped - these should be the ones who can consistently get 4-5+ KD in pubs; While others (be it luck, or inherently bad skill) should be stomped over and lose outright - these should be the ones unable to pass 2 KD in pubs but are still in some professional team for some reason. The added threat/pressure of it being a tournament with (most likely) a prize pool involving cash (cash that could only be obtained because a bet was placed prior by said team in most tournaments) should give the already solid streamers added adrenaline (whether they want to admit it or not). Adrenaline *will* happen in the body, against their will, against their control, against everything - it's nature; And adrenaline doesn't screw around - it heightens numerous senses and makes you a literal better killer/survivor in reality. Your decision making goes out the window, but your reflexes should heighten (and in most situations, reflexes are more important than a solid decision as it doesn't matter if you're being dumb running into the open. If you can take out your opponent hiding in an advantageous position with a headshot whilst you made a bad play running into an open field, the dumb decision turned into a smart play). That being said, the numbers are pitiful. True dominating players under the surge of adrenaline should be a demon on the field, somebody you'd accuse of cheating they're so good. But you're telling me somebody who's dropping 4+ KD in *random* matches with more variables out of their control (due to tournaments giving more control, such as where teams are allowed to land, knowledge of where teams will land and knowing everyone is in coms instead of some, etc) goes against pros in controlled environments and suck? Pit me against Shroud in games I'm good at - I'll shoot him just the same as any random person; only difference is, I'll probably be shot at faster and more accurately (but that shouldn't screw with *MY* aim, just *their* ttk).

It's kind of a great defense for Activision. They use the streamers until there's a reason not to. Then throw them under the bus. If the streamer then sues Activision for claiming he's on a white-list, which means he wouldn't get banned for cheating, yes, obviously his actual cheats would be revealed. The problem with that from the streamers POV is that he would then be admitting to cheating, which is against every streaming service TOS, which would then open him up to being kicked from all those platforms. It would surely be nice that if that happened, people who and supported the cheater could sue either the platform, the streamer or both for fraud. That's why the streamer will never initiate anything against Activision

Understand this, foot pedals will not get you banned. They emulate keyboard buttons. You could set up macros, possibly that will get you banned. Or if you have a toggle aimbot the act of holding an extra button while you’re firing your weapon can be detected. So holding a button to trigger the illegal actions will be detected and cause you to be flagged. Having foot pedals will not get you banned. I use one to slide and to throw lethals. Have an extra one that I don’t use. The point is I’ve been using them long before anyone got the bright idea to use them to activate cheats. I still use them today. My account doesn’t get shadowed or banned in any way. Fire round shotguns when fired you can’t see where the player is after 2 shots. Causing you to lose more often than not because you’re only glancing the target since they move after being hit and are harder to track for good hits after firing. Most people give up on it because it’s less than ideal in the range it’s effective. Try it for a bit, you’ll run across instances like I’m mentioning. Bob run a katt and a haymaker almost forever. When he got banned he switched to the d-tir and any shotgun he could find. He’s ass with the d-tir. And I have yet to see him use the katt that which he was so successful with.

yes as at a lan event it is highly setup and optimized by professional techs, and is literally the best feeling in any game, and if you are fish outta water in a lan event but behind closed doors you are a god, it gonna be quite obvious to someone such as activision, it just goes to show that some turn a blind eye

I really don't like any streamer out there but the 1,08kd in the lan lobby is really not shocking nor low. When you have 1 fixed lobby where there are the same players you can't go under 1 kd and not way higher. Every kill from someone is a death for someone else which is balancing to a 1 kill/death ratio. Why is it over 1? Well there are rebuys and those are the 0,08 above the 1kd. I like call of shame but sometimes stuff seems illogical. Great job anyways CoS for giving those hackers a lesson for life. Fk around, find out.

Can't get more OG than this? WTF, I started playing in the BEGINNING. I started when Call of Duty (2003) came out. It's still and always will be the GOAT of CoD. It was actually challenging and none of you would give it the time of day because it is (for you) too difficult, but it is the game that started this what is today, a nightmare. We had free maps and mods. Dedicated low ping servers. Control to kick hackers for an hour or two or just permaban them (permaban if rage hacking). It's the way the game was meant to be played. And to this day will jump on and get my ass handed to me and have fun doing it. Learn your history so you don't repeat it and then talk about it without knowing any of it. It makes you kids sound like (as Red Forman always said) Dumb A$$es.

It was the most popular game of 2003 along with Call of Duty United Offensive expansion the following year, it was the most played game until CoD4 came out and it's still playable to this day. It only took a month to become more popular than the other OG games like Battlefield 1942, Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and Quake 3 Areana. Hell, I got a whole Island to play the game after 2 months of release and had LAN parties at my house every weekend with 10 PCs set up throughout the house. It wasn't on console because consoles couldn't run the game, consoles were too slow. They were a joke back then. If you wanted to seriously game back then, you needed a PC with a video card, or it was just a bad time. Just do your history before saying things like that, there are plenty of videos of these old game (have even have some current CoD UO MP gameplay on my channel). I do like what you do exposing cheaters, and I congratulate you on your work. Just remember, Gaming has been around for decades before you were born, it's not a new thing.

I miss having Lan parties in my apartment back then. I miss the golden age of gaming. I miss the "orange box" Half life. the original teamfortress classic. I had to stop playing COD after MWIII, Black Ops II. to many cheaters COD has lost its way. to many dumb changes like TTK, Cross Play, the worst of all Skill based match making. I use a foot pedal to talk. So I can use a controller and still have push to talk on. However I’ve been using a foot pedal for push-to-talk since Verdansk, and I have never been even shadow banned. That’s why I don’t believe “ohh hurr durr it’s muh foot pedal”

Foot pedals have been common for 10+ years. With streamers and anyone using push to talk in a voice chat. Steamers that cheat tend to find it easy to press a foot pedal without looking suspicious to activate silent aim/walls. This makes them ever so much harder to detect, as fights they know they’ll win they don’t activate cheats. Holding a button that doesn’t correlate to the game will flag you especially if you use it to toggle silent aim. After being flagged you will continue to play until they are able to sniff memory and see what exactly you’re activating while holding this abnormal button. If it’s being held for ts3, discord, mumble, Xbox game chat, or any other vc service then you’ll be unflagged. Odds are he was using a foot pedal to turn on silent aim. Hence why he blamed the foot pedal.

I just tried Warzone Resurgence last night for the first time in 2 years. DO NOT PLAY WARZONE. Land start squad wipe with in seconds, 5 matches in a row. 6th match camped on and killed again and again, couldn't stay alive for more than 30 seconds after picking up a half decent gun and got lazered again and again and again. The game is literally impossible to play now. 99.5% rage hackers, the rest are real players aka target dummies. Ie my teams again and again and again. Even MWII quick play is full of rage hackers too! WHY!!????? It's pathetic!!

The fact that these streamers are being propped up by Activision by way of whitelists, insiders, and the like - this only means one thing to me: CALL OF DUTY AS A FRANCHISE IS ABSOLUTELY FAILING, AND THERE ARE NO HIGHLY SKILLED COD PLAYERS THAT STREAM LEGITIMITELY, BECAUSE ITS JUST MORE OF THE SAME BULLSHIT. P.s if Ricochet banned ALL of the cheaters in one ban wave there would literally not be enough people to even play the game/s at all now. That's REALLY why they don't ban ALL cheaters in ban waves now. Not the retoric that they use to justify these anaemic ban numbers. If they did the game would literally have about 200 people still playing. Otherwise officially EOL game/s right!? That would send shock waves through the gaming industry. The real issue as I see it is the CoD Streamer PR team or whatever. There will always be cheaters, and it look like Ricochet for the most part works. but this Branch within activition that likes to play god by holding this power of the whitelist/bans over a select group of cheaters in order to drum up hype as well as make money off the wager scene is wild.
