Layla and other basic hero are always disregarded on pro tournament because they think they're useless, but in reality every single Hero on ML are doable to use on international tournament depending on the synergy of the team and how you play them. PH players have much wider view of things and not afraid to experiment on different heroes for their line up compared to other teams. This is the reason why PH teams always dominate international tournament and will always be.

I don’t think it is to embarass NA. I think it’s an attempt to counter the range of bruno, which is pretty decent, considering the composition of BtK, with their first 4 picks. There’s nobody who can really reach kelra, unless he’d be out of position. See how btk reacted with their 5th pick, using arlot, which definitely has a tool to close the gap between na backlines and his team. But It’s a punch to the moon. It’s so hard to execute and easier for kelra. He just needs to wait for the final slash to burn. After that, he can just sit comfortably. But I am not saying it’s an easy work to position your self and stay safe despite having the enemies’ eyes on you. It’s a fun game, gg BTK and congrats to FNOP.
