​@@vjbd2757They overdone the open world thing with just "endless grind", prolonged burnout in a single place making moving to X place to Y place absolutely feels bad because there's nothing in between and the fact you had to grind to do stuff is just awful. Genshin is mostly the same mainly because it lacked unique pinpoint and world quest with many yap. It also lacks immersion in some places killing people's interest in making it 100%. In the wuthering wave they fked up 1.0 so bad because there's not much to see Early on as you can't see Point X to Y due problematic terrain designs. It doesn't apply to Rinascita because it's carefully designed so players can explore just from seeing in distance. Older games have this design while newer just slap whatever that makes shit bigger ignoring the fact that the game itself is just one empty sandbox.

That BGM is actually not from Kuro but they bought the rights for it, its A fairy tail by Yuria Miyazono, which is kinda identical (how it sounds) to Ars Tonelico bgm/ost hymn etc.

​@@haruusami1831I mean they bought the rights so it's technically theirs isn't it? It's like how Genshin's music early on was made by Yu Peng Chen but it's technically Hoyo's property. With that being said, I hope they hire Miyazono to do more compositions. This composition felt like it was made in house since they already have this Nier-esque chaos language music like in Black Shores. So if that's Miyazono's style, he/she'll fit well with WuWa. It's unfortunate that Vanguard Sound composers seem to be fully-booked.

Honestly, this was the moment that I feel like Wuwa finally found its footing and stuck the landing after fumbling a bit on just about every other update in one way or another (though Black shores was visually stunning, which was a taste of what they had learned) whether it be some awkward voice acting, clunky writing, relatively bland environments, or lacking music. 2.0 was EXACTLY the turning point they needed to step up and get people's attention. Excellent story and writing, diverse and beautiful environments, great voice acting, and INCREDIBLE music. And Regunna is the first time I actually stopped and absorbed the scenery and took pictures! Wuwa had never managed to get that out of me before, but WOW is everything picturesque! Some people might dismiss what I have to say or start irrationally hating me for saying this, but this is the moment that they finally caught up to Genshin and it's genuinely competition now. Before this it never gave me quite the feeling I get from exploring Genshin areas and experiencing the Archon quests, but this gave me that same level of excitement and exuberance I've felt every time a new X.0 drops for Genshin, the only huge separation between the two of them now is that Wuwa still has to truly develop its lore and world building foundations, but Genshin is cheating in that regard since its got almost 4 years of time ahead. Anyways, kuro NAILED it and it's almost as important to me as Genshin has been for years, and I couldn't be happier!
