I just swapped from OBS to SLOBS, and I already knew the things with the scenes and adding etc etc, but what you show here with the widgets and everything and the connection and how easy it actually is to fix and make to your own liking, its amazing!

TBH... searched for videos and forums for 3 to 4 days tearing out my hair about the audio quality of my stream. Been having loop issues, static issues, echos, sound that does not work through the stream itself. Had to ghetto rig my mic to include the game audio and music audio into my stream. 7:00 minutes into this video those problems where solved instantly!! Literally copied the settings you had for the audio and muted or turned down volume for everything else that was not being used and bingo. @Dusty Porter you're The G.O.A.T.

There’s a black screen for display capture for more I added a scene help Edit:if you have a laptop or bad cpu or you tired all the fixes just use xsplit broadcaster it will probably work

if you have to graphics cards, set the default card for obs to integrated graphics then run the program as an administrator everytime. This worked for me

Hey Dusty, This is a fantastic tutorial! One question for you, my Stream Labs set up looks different form yours, the menu bar on the left side in your videos has a TON more options than mine does. Do you have any idea why? I've found some of the menus in other tabs, but I cant' find the API Settings, is that just an older version, or is there a different way to arrange the layout? @@Arlucity typically they have 2 monitors, so you capture the video of the opposite monitor...like if one was your production and behind the scenes monitor while the other runs the game your playing

Thank you for this grand tutorial! I feel I understand so much more about Streamlabs OBS already. One thing I have struggled with though is scheduling and then starting that scheduled stream. Apparently the method only works for desktop, not laptop, but you right click the shortcut, select drivers, and change to the 2nd option

Something is wrong with the display. That's why it's not connecting. Make sure you have the right one selected.

I'm grateful for the effort here. I have watched this video three times. The third time I went through it slowly and each time he clicked I made a note to review my own installation. After five hours working with this product I still can't get it to connect to youtube so I'm going to look around for something else. It's very frustrating. I may not be the most sophisticated user but I built the computer I'm writing on and installed everything that is on it. And it all does what it should except for this. :(

if its the desktop audio just click the settings option on the bottom right of the home screen on slobs, click properties, click the drop-down and select default. if its mic/aux just do the same by pressing on the settings option and follow the same steps. HOPE THAT HELPED!!!🤙👌
