Fell in love with mine immediately! I struggle to throw fairway rollers, but the Ascend was doing really well for me! Thanks for the vid, that roller was INSANE lol

After having some time to think more about it. I really like the difficulty level. Some really easy one and some challenging ones. Good for 80-90% of the players out there.

Great point about the understable stuff being able to give to your friends and grow the brand that way. Every lineup needs understable fairway and I really like streamline stuff. The Lift is my go to hyzer flip driver but this seems like a good addition

Lol got mine 2 weeks ago it's my mid range/driver staple. I throw this disc the most outside my putter. Amazing feel and nice neutron plastic. Love my ascend

The one shot I didn't see you throw that made me fall in love with the Ascend was the early dog leg right. Throwing the Ascend high and flat, it will curve right and just keep going straight. It has so many options.

I throw this forehand and it's great! If I give it enough height, it turns and glides forever. As a forehand main, it fits into the bag great for wooded doglegs.

Ascend is one of those discs when the round is deteriorating that you can lean on!

It’s been a minute since I’ve thrown a drift but I remember it being more overstable. The cosmic drifts were way more overstable. Interested to see if they come out with cosmic plastic for the ascend

Yes! anytime you throw up hill it slows a disc down. When a disc is slowed down it becomes more overable. So to combat that hill throw something that will flip easier. This disc will certainly flip.

I'm getting some Fairway Uplink vibes from this. I have a 153g Lat 64 Diamond that I use as my absolutely need to get to ther ground fast roller disc, but I think the Ascend could do that but still be useable in the woods as you said.

I don't get when people say under stable discs are for beginners. I'd consider them more advanced discs. For some, they may be overcomplicated.

I say it because most of the time beginners can not throw a disc fast enough to get over stable discs up to speed so its not really going to go as far is you would like. So the understable discs are easier to get up to speed and get a better flight out of. Of course this is all relative to the person... Now here is where I agree with you. To master an understable disc is hard to do when you do have good arm speed. Have to have good angle control and speed control in order to get the disc to work like you intend. Once you do you can get some of the best flights out of a disc.

for such an understable 6 speed that thing goes like stink, holy. i dont think i've ever tried rolling a slower speed before for distance but i definitely am going to have to try it one day. great flight out of this disc though, mvp really doing it good

Just bought one. Great price as well. Fun disc. Great feel to Neutron plastic. I have 166g easily 300ft disc. Definitely good in the woods. Where's the course your playing?
