As someone who enjoys talk radio, audio pods, and audiobooks, and not a TV watcher, I am happy to have your YT messages in audio form, because I can listen while working or creating (piecing quilts currently, which requires a lot of up and down from sewing machine to iron to cutting table) without the distraction of looking at the screen. The message is the same, but it hits deeper because it involves active listening imbedding the words with my own mental images. I just wish we’d had more than one episode with Ryan’s good-looking haircut. 😀

I'm not a big fan of podcasts, because if I'm not "watching", then my mind wanders too easily. When this one started, I was sitting here, ready to watch and listen. When I finally realized I wouldn't be seeing you, I started washing dishes. That lead to my brain thinking about things in the fridge that I needed to get rid of and then wash those dishes too. I completely missed a question that was asked. I didn't know I missed it until you said "TK, do you have pithy answer for...."

I've been working 40+ hours a week in complete cluttered chaos for a couple years now. I think this is carrying over to my own home spaces. I finally took it upon myself, because no one else would, to sort and clean. I removed 28 archive boxes, 6 file cabinets, 3 chairs and a multitude of other things. It took me 2 months. I've decided to give my personal office space the same treatment. This is all in prep for the massive projects, my basement and garage. I needed to prove to myself that I am exceptionally capable of decluttering. I feel like I am ready now. 😊

At first I was sad when I grabbed my phone to watch your show and realized you minimalized your you tube channel to be just sound. I almost went to watch another channel and said wait! I grabbed my ear pods and went into a physical activity instead of just sitting on my butt looking at the phone to watch you guys talk. Thanks for being the motivation I needed. PS. I have rooms filled with Justin Case items…so this is perfect timing. 😂

18:18 this reinforces the idea that every addition is a subtraction. By adding something you are losing something which could take its place, or you are losing the time and space that it takes up. On the flip side by subtracting something you are adding something in return, more space, more time, more possibility

If I wanted to listen to a podcast I would use the various podcast platforms… This is KZbin and despite the fact that you can do what you like with your channel… I can’t watch this new format… So thanks for what you have done up until now, but I will stop following you… hoping that one day you return to video and not just audio.

As someone whi specifically follows you on youtube and not a podcast app, I am here for the subtitles. The animation is quite distracting though and making the podcast unwatchable. I cannot concentrate at all on what I am reading because the animation draws my eyes away. Had to stop after just five minutes, which is very sad - this is my favorite KZbin channel normally, but I will have to stop watching it now 😢

I’m sure there’s a sound business decision to streamline and go dark on KZbin; but I must say that on this side it feels a bit extreme, almost like you’re pushing your audience away.

it's refreshing. I don't have to see a bunch of black t-shirts anymore. LOL !!! Hasn't that sheepish minimal brainwash group think about run it's course ? Marketed minimalism with played out stereo typical group think optics is hilarious. How about actually being enigmatic instead of stereo typical group think minimalism that has been used as some sort of marketing tool. Somebody had to address it. Love minimalist stuff but not the cheesy played out stereo typical look that doesn't really convey anything other than having a sheepish optic. But I'm not attempting to sell anything and I will be forthright and honest. The business of minimalism is a touch distasteful and I hope you guys wake up from it and shift to something other than plugging minimalism as a business and some sort of visual optics personal look. Too much group think look for minimalist people selling minimalism. Just my 2 cents and I can bet this isn't the first time you have heard this kind of thing from people.

it's just gimmicky and played with the whole thing , this is what minimalist looks like. They are marketing a stereo typical optic that is laughable and there are a bunch of others doing it also. The difference is I see through the marketing of minimalism. It's like peace activists that own bomb factories. Get It ? it's not just these guys. Try to have some originality is really all I'm saying. A lot of this stuff is cookie cutter sheepish BS being plugged as individuality and it may look more enigmatic to the unexperienced. A lot of this is just playing upon trendy stereo typical and it's time for this has come and gone with the minimalist t shirt thing. in one word GIMMICKY and very inauthentic. All these minimalist marketers are hearing this now because they are getting exposed. I'm not some grand revealer. My only hope is for people to wake up from marketed minimalism that is kind of a oxymoron kind of. It is cashing in on the anti trend thing and people are getting wise to it . Sorry to be so long winded but I don't have anything against black clothing just marketers that are selling gimmicky stereo types in a group think sheepish manner. I hope you understand what I'm saying
