I spent a lot in ‘23 as I was on a journey to discover makeup. This year, I aim to spend a lot less (close to nothing) and to streamline what I own. I love choices…but I find that too many choices is confining rather than liberating! Thanks for the inspiration and hope you feel better!

I have had many many bronzers over the years but im currently using Guerlain terracotta light in natural cool powder. So beautiful and I've also had a Vaseline spray moisturizer in cocoa glow so beautiful as well and u can build colour with it. So great, I love your selection as well 😊

I'm recovering from an eye infection and I haven't been wearing makeup for over a week. I went back to work today and finally put on makeup. I looked so different. I didn't put on eye makeup though, for obvious reason, so I looked kinda funny because I am used to seeing myself with eyeshadow, mascara, etc. I hope you get better soon!

I also bought Sirena because of Andreea, this and the Surratt bronzers *chef’s kiss*. I also like the Mario bronzer but I still prefer the Chanel cream bronzer in the medium shade all year round.

I have been loving the Clinique True Bronze. I have both shades and am using the lighter one currently. Bought them on sale before Christmas. I agree with you on the Make Beauty bronzer formula. It is insanely beautiful. I have that as well. Right now I am using the lightest shade but have the Dune for summer. The Clinique one does give me more of that pop of sun look tho (than the Lunar shade; which leans more gold); so I have been grabbing that one a little more often lately. But I do love both of them. Haven't used the Dune yet. But It looks gorgeous.🙂

I've definitely a very curated collection these days...i'm using up my hourglass powder bronzer and then am going to get the Chantecaille (currently out of stock in the UK). I find the Chanel bronzer OK for all year use....but it still pulls a little warm on me; so I guess i'm still after my holy grail. I loved the Guerlain Four Seasons Bronzer (with the Pink section) but it is discontinued. Great video Sandra and some great ideas for my next selection.

This is making me want to declutter….which is a good thing! If I had to choose a couple of bronzers, I’d definitely choose the Mario, and I love the Gucci powder bronzer. The undertone of that one (shade fair) is perfect on my skin, and the formula is really nice, too. Thanks for the video, and glad you’re feeling better, Sandra! 💓

So I interesting to see your bronzer collection. I had a hard time finding a bronzer that I like. My skin is fair with cool rosy undertones. I have dark brown hair, some people call it black ( but that is not true) and I have a mix of blue and green as eye color. In really bright sunlight they look like a tropical ocean. But I have the hardest time to find a bronzer that looks good on me. But this holiday season I purchased the VB bronzer brick in the lightest shade and I finally can say I found one that suits me. I have no liquids or creams. I also feel like when I want to wear bronzer I have to have some extra time to do my make up, just to make sure that the look that I've done is pretty and natural, not to much. So on a 5 min make up day quick before work I never slap on bronzer. But a good blush that is my jam!

Yay!! So happy that you found a formula that works well for you. Undertones are really important and I find that brands are only now starting to offer us better options for neutral and cool tones. everything has been yellow and orange for so long. I love Victoria Beckham’s beauty brand - one of my favorites! I’m the total opposite I could just quickly run out with just bronzer on. Maybe add a title but of it on my eyelids as well for some shading and warmth 😄😄

Good morning Sandra. Glad your feeling better. A lot of people are getting "bugs" this time of year. It's like you read my mind. I seem to always be looking for the perfect bronzer. The only cream I have is the Mario one and I'm already on to my 2nd one. I have many powder bronzer's and I'm realizing I don't look my best if the tone is too orangy. I haven't bought any Jones Road products, but I think the tone of that one would suit me. The Chantecaille is gorgeous, but I would definitely go into a store to see it on my skin. I need to do a Hannah Poston declutter. LOL

Her declutter videos are so satisfying, I love hearing her thought process as she pours over each makeup item 🙂 I used to look better with super warm bronzers when I was in my 20’s and used to fake tan regularly because I feel like my skin tone was more golden so it was complementing nicely. Now I’m definitely more drawn to more neutral toned bronzers. The Mario bronzer is just so easy and lovely to use, it’s hard to beat!

If it's matte bronzer I want - the nars laguna is one that is such a good one. For shimmery the closest thing I have found to the Becca which I have and am working my way through, is the tarte park avenue princess bronzer which is also beautiful. For me I can't buy a new bronzer till I finish one in my stash. Working on two this year and honestly its not something I have many of as I like to work my way through one and then will be loyal to one if its good. That chanetecialle one looks so beautiful on you!

Sirena looks really, really good on you Sandra. I love a bronzed look even in Winter and will admit it's one category I have a few too many of. I have my winter & summer bronzer shades and is the real reason I have about 6 I go between. Like so many of us, I'm on a mission this month to streamline and toss products that are long past their best date or ones I never use. Happy 2024 all 🩷

Thanks for another great video! I recently bought the Nars talc-free powder bronzer in laguna 00. It’s a subtle neutral bronzer for light skin. I like that it can work as a contour/bronzer hybrid. Would love to know what you’re wearing on your eyes in this video!

Love that NARS made their iconic Laguna shade in an updated formula! on the eyes I’m wearing Merit Vachetta eyeshadow with Chanel Undertone on top and a little bit of Lisa Eldridge Supernova in the inner corner

I might have to try those products! I bought Lise Watier “loafer” on your recommendation last year and love it. For the bronzer, the 00 shade isn’t as warm as the original laguna.

I’m still trying to use up my Charlotte Tilbury flawless finish bronzer and the Marc Jacobs. Both are large pans so they’ve lasted a long time. I prefer the CT for summer and MJ for winter. I also use the bronzers in my many Hourglass edit palettes collected over the years but mostly when I travel. For cream bronzer I have a small amount of Nudestix Bondi Bae left and Fenty Macchiato. I have been about what to get next and the Chantecaille bronzer is on my list. Everyone seems to love the Makeup by Mario but I need to get through the Fenty first. 🥰

I love bronzers! I try to keep it at 3 though, I'm loving my guerlain terracotta, the Gucci bronzer, and the Victoria Beckham one! I'm satisfied in terms of bronzing but there's a voice in my head telling me to get the kevyn aucoin sculpting powder that I finished several years ago

Loved that Kevyn Aucoin contour powder!! I also love the contour shade in the Charlotte tilbury film star bronze and glow but hated the highlighter part lol I wish they sold it separately

I've been wanting to try the Mario Skin Enhancer, but which shade?? Light Medium seems like it would only work on me at my palest, and medium is too warm for me. medium dark then? or would that be too intense? We shall see what I choose ;) my skin tone is very similar to yours, maybe just a tad deeper and warmer. oh yes, to my surprise, bronzer has become one of my favorite makeup categories. I started with more powder products when I got into makeup as a passion 2 years ago, but since last summer, have been starting to get into creams. I love having some options, more intense ones and more sheer ones, and slightly different tones for the seasons. Now in the winter, I use the Chanel cream bronzer in the lighter shade. in the summer I love Charlotte Tilbury's cream in medium and fudge glaze by pink honey - terrible packaging design, but very nice product and a little more sheer and dewy than the Charlotte Tilbury ;)

Honestly it’s so sheer/buildable you can probably make Medium Dark work if you like the undertone!! I also find Medium too warm for my liking. Since it’s so dewy I mostly only reach for it in colder months so it works out that I have the Light Medium shade. Kind of gives me a soft contour/bronzer no makeup makeup look

Without options in makeup products, the fun starts to fade. I have a few in every single category, and am happy with real choices. Too many products is overwhelming, but 4 or 5 works well. I have many more blushes than that though.

agree!! i don't think i could narrow down to just 5 blushes (or eyeshadow for that matter, even though all my looks look the same LOL) but making sure we don't have redundancies makes sure we actually use and enjoy what we have more!
