Is there any way to have css selectors in a button in streamlit. I.E. click {this} button, it runs some python code, then takes user to the anchor or specified href tag , lets say the top of the page?

Hey! I have never tried, from the top of my head it would involve some JS to add an onclick event to a button and then a scrolling mechanism. You can check some answers on the forum about scrolling, like discuss.streamlit.io/t/how-can-i-use-an-auto-scroll-to-the-bottom-of-the-page/39650/3 and adding JS events to a button with kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX3chGOsbcelaJI, I think a fusion of both is s a good first step. I don't have a quick & easy solution for this though yet. You may have more immediate luck by posting the question on the forum!

With a lot of effort yes, it "could" be possible, but I think personally you'd be fighting a uphill battle with Streamlit's constrained design and the rerun system... I'd rather use dedicated websites like Shopify or Gumroad for that than code one from scratch, or at least go the Django route in Python or Next.js in Javascript.
