They have no children, but raise a mischievous ferret named Smack. They logically thought they had said yes for life, for better and for worse. But this morning, they have an appointment with the judge of matrimonial affairs, for a final attempt at conciliation before pronouncing the divorce. On the steps of the courthouse, they prepare for the irremediable. Just before signing, a final argument leads them to tell the judge their version of the three years of living together.
