Hahaha, great plot, great performances, including Denzel. But really, Paul Mescal was very impressive in every way. Just don’t go in expecting a copycat Russell Crowe performance and you will not be disappointed. The cinematography was terrific, the fight scenes were terrific. Paul is a true star.

Such a delightful movie! Saw it last night with my wife in a great Dolby Atmos cinema, and I enjoyed it like I didn’t enjoy a movie for a long time. I loved that Ridley didn’t produce a superhero movie, and every scene seemed so real. Something that could’ve actually happen in ancient Rome. I loved the fact that he didn’t force Hanno to be the spitting image of Maximmus, and the back story was brilliant. A movie to rewatch in the next two decades 🗡️ 🏛️

I just admire the way Ridley Scott connected the Glad-I to Glad-II as in a sequence of a book with a constant history line of personages. The history fallows beautifully and gives credence to the connection of families. All actors perform their roles wonderfully in the battle and fighting scenes. Congrats to all. I paid $19 dollars to watch this movie -- well spent.

this film is a testament to how extraordinary human beings can be. it may well be the greatest achievements of this century. combining all the elements of the scale of the production, the attention to detail, and the way it honors the first film’s legacy are unbelievable. from the story of Lucius to the flawless casting and incredibly impressive performances, every element comes together to deliver a masterpiece. the creative fight scenes, the diversity of action, and the powerful music leave a lasting impression. and despite the chaos and madness, it still captures raw human emotions of grief, love, rage, resentment, sadness and vulnerability making it powerful and unforgettable. both thrilling and profoundly moving. and then there’s paul mescal who’s in a league of his own in this movie. the perfect talent for this role was found and the world must appreciate that. it wouldn’t have been this complete without him as lucius. well done to everyone involved in this project

This movie was epic garbage. 1.Denzel and his new york accent.. 2.sharks and ships in the colesseum! (Need i say more?) 3. Too much CGI 4. Maximus is not the father! 5.same plot. It makes no sense that lucius had to run away when graccus took over at the end of the first movie.. The only good thing about this movie are the flashbacks of the first one. the most laughable part of this video is hans zimmer rejoicing about how the composer "took" his old score and expanded it to something new. the score in gladiator 2 is laughable. i don´t even remember there was a score except the usual brainless carpet of musical layers sauced all over the film with no emotion impact at all. then in the end titles they play the old theme. i still cannot believe how bad this film really is.
