A long, long time ago we raced IHRA and NHRA Super Street, Gas and Comp. It was a family thing. Never went quite this fast though :-) Those days are gone, and now I'm a spectaor. So,when I want to seriously pull those wonderful memories back from the past, I watch your video 3 or 4 times and I'm there!. Thank you for helping me to relive some great times!

stupid question probably but im only 14 but how do u exactly do a burnout on drag strips? put it in gear 1 and then throttle and brake? and wat about like street burnouts or something just throttle and break on drive or something

Dude! That's cool. I noticed the nitrous bottle was a little loose. It slid up a little when you're hard on the brakes at the end. I thought it was the camera for sec, but the valve was the only thing that moved in the picture. Cool, video. Have fun be save.

His car is running nitrous, and what you are seeing is the purge used to release the gas so that it's always fresh when he uses it when the car is going down the track.

Try riding in a car half that size that's nearly as fast! Red Barron holds the 1/4 mile world record for Bugs. It ran 8.34 at Speedworld Raceway, my hometown track here in AZ! I saw the Red Barron at the last AZ 4 cylinder challenge. It had no competitors so he just did an 1/8th mile burnout!
