@ASeasonedWitch There is so much bad in the world that seeing people be kind to injired or abandoned animals when I wish I could do so much more myself is re-assuring. I have four foster kitties and I feed five ferals and I donate to at least four little groups but I SO wish I could win the lottery, march into my local little rescue group with a blank check and say, "Save 'em all, starting now."

When a feral cat trusts someone, you know it's serious. Feral cats would NEVER walk up to a human, and they definitely wouldn't allow anyone to hold them either. The fact that this cat is taking such a huge risk shows that they realized they would die if they didn't find someone to help them.

If only we could live in a world without “the 20%”...rapists, molesters, thieves, frauds, corrupt politicians and officials, any other criminal behaviour and in this case... those who knowingly would hurt or endanger an animal. How much further we would be as human kind without that anchor dragging our society down. Why couldn’t we rid ourselves of those people in the past, instead of prosecuting and murdering entire tribes, communities and peoples who hadn’t done anything wrong but being in the wrong place and were so unlucky as to have a finger pointed at them (looking at you Adolf). Maybe because those in power belong to the 20% too many times...A man can dream at least.

Me too. My cat was advertised on social media as litter of kittens that need homes ASAP. Why? Because the person that had them found out her kid was allergic and put all the cats in one room and never let them out for weeks and they only opened it long enough to give them food and change the litter box. She must not have gotten very much food as she looked like she was only 7 weeks old? Skinny and gained 3 lbs in 5 weeks! Now she has toys, treats, appropriate food, snuggles and she's safe. I wouldn't trade her for anything. I dont know how some people can be so cruel and dumb! I planned a toy for her birthday....the remote control mouse. :-) Im dying to see what she will do. Does anyone have one for their cat?

Nurses, whether medical, or veterinary, are the heros we need, but do not deserve ... True, on the one hand, I did get a pneumothorax infection, after spinal surgery, because the night staff forgot to check my chest drain, which resulted in a puddle of chest fluids, all over the floor under my bed, into which my surgeon stepped in when he came down to see how I was doing ... ... but on the other was a remarkable nurse whom, twice a day, every day, for about a week, ordered soup, poured it into a cup, then held the straw I could drink it through, since I was flat on my back and was told not to even lay on my side... without her patience, kindness, and dedication to her uniform, I would've starved in that time ... I wish I could remember her name, because she definitely deserves a golden stethoscope ...

this channel does a better job than most in reminding viewers that catching feral cats takes time and patience, but it still isn't as easy or safe as they make it look. if a cat refuses to walk into a trap, you have to put a lot of time into building trust so you can try other methods, sometimes camping out for hours and still not getting a window of opportunity to catch them. and even when you think you've got enough of their trust, they will still fight back hard enough to injure you when you attempt it. feral cats who would let me pet them have sent me to the doctor with bone-deep bites when i didn't wear proper safety gear while trying to catch them for TNR

These are the kind of channels that should get millions of subscribers. They can make lots of money to help even more animals. Think about the good stuff we could all do together. Tons of money to charity. (Instead of to some weird guys playing computergames all day and commenting on his own play ;-)

It's amazing to me all the people who love cats and how much they do for them. Thank you to everyone who has cats, cares for them and rescues those in need.

It's amazing how all of them instinctively gravitate to your wife when they first arrive at your home. I swear they just know who is good and safe. The work you do is absolutely amazing. You guys are a miracle. Bless you both, always.

You are doing exactly what I've always wanted to do ! I've loved cats since I was 5 or 6. Now I'm 70. But still want to do it. They all deserve love and care. Thank you !!

I'm proud that I have begun to be a monthly supporter of Flatbush Cats, even though I'm from NC. We can all send a little locally and nationwide to alleviate animal suffering. Thank you guys for all you do.

And that's why I LOVE former feral cats (I have 4 from my yard) It's not easy to gain their trust and takes a LOT of patience but the loving look of gratitude is so worth it. And knowing that they are safe with you is priceless ❤❤❤❤

when you can get them to go from circling you and the food plate in the yard to circling you, to letting you lightly pet them, to getting into your lap, to that moment when they finally relax their bodies completely lying down on your legs, when they don't worry about running any more, they surrender themself to you, then is when it's all worth it.

Your organization is the best, your videos are heartwarming, rescue babies are fortunate to have been cared for by you. I always develop a lump in my throat at the beginning, but it always ends up with a smile or chuckle. So much love flowing....THANK YOU

You don't ask for money. You do the right thing....you show what can be done by actually doing it. That makes this channel probably the best. Thank you.
