Makoto seems like a character from another franchise slapped into SF. Ridiculous, SF3 is a nice game alright, but back then balance patches weren't a thing and this game clearly needs one.

Well, one could say that the fact that she has high risk/high reward okizeme and no reversals (unless SA1 and SA2) balances her cheap stuff. That's truly debatable. I would buff Sean instead of balancing Makoto, because Sean at 2nd Impact was truly a thing out of this world haha

There's an argument that balance patches ruin the game, u spend months getting good with a character to have his or her tool set nerfed into the ground.not to mention constantly having to relearn match ups

Makoto should only be able to do one upper cut after her super. Two is too much, given how much stun it does.

the game wasn't designed to be played the way it is. it is only by (ab)using animation canceling that shit like that even works (like Q's kara command grab, Ken's midscreen DP/uppercut juggles, Hugo's stand 720 uses super-jump canceling i think, etc.), which is part of the reason the skill ceiling for this game is so high. landing that combo is also very difficult, and Tominaga does it consistently

I don't think the upper should be impossible, but a better damage scalling would be very welcome. The thing is, skill ceiling shouldn't justify too much the character being busted. Yun is super broken (and isn't top 1 because Chun-Li exists), and being hard to learn doesn't mean that it is justifiable to bust everything lmao. But hey alright, I'm just a mere shitty Necro player. The important thing is to keep the community united, Capcom unfortunately won't remaster a 20yo game, right?

To be honest it's actually not that easy to do and it's just an exploit of the engine to be honest. You have to Kara cancel into that uppercut it doesn't just come out

@@DoctrineAgnes they were about to rebalance the whole game for sf3 online edition, but when they did the market studies, notice that the community didn't wanned it rebalanced, Wich is a horrible thing, becouse it would have transformed the best fighting game of all time into de best fighting game in all universes, maybe it would have been received badly, becouse people hate change, but just imagine Sean with good punishes or twelve with good confirms and combos, this game would have been extremely diverse, now in competitive is just Chun, ken and Yun

@@pedrolopez3830 Not only fear of change, but I guess with low tier/bottom tier characters in this game, a lot of people tend to value the grinding that people did with those characters. Pierrot (Remy player) did amazing at Coop Cup 2018. Yama (Twelve player) never won a Coop Cup or EVO, but he still managed to get far. TM is also a MVP with Q. They're all shitty characters but some crazy people had gone to great lengths just to show what they're capable of doing with low tiers.

Even though Pachikasu lost all matches here, I believe that it is really hard to keep focus while fighting Makoto. She can destroy you if you don't guess/read correctly. But yeah, maybe he could've avoided some attacks here and there
