This is a play-through using Seth in the Arcade version of Street Fighter 4. Read on below for more information...
Seth is the final boss. He is an unplayable character in this version of the game.
===== About Seth =====
Seth is the Chief Executive Officer of S.I.N., the weapons division of the Shadaloo organization. He is one of the genetically engineered replacement bodies for M.Bison. He is a synthetic human, but it is unclear on whether he is an android or a cyborg (or both). His abdomen contains a rotating sphere called the Tanden Engine, which appears to be his source of his power. His fighting style basically consists of him copying moves from other fighters.
Gameplay-wise, Seth seems to be a powerful character to use in Arcade SF4... the fact that he is a non-selectable CPU-only boss means that Capcom wouldn't have balanced him out properly in this version of the game. There are probably some differences between this version of him and the console-SF4 versions of him... but I'm not 100&% sure.
===== Additional Information =====
---- If you complete single-player mode with him, the game will freeze and lock up. This is because he has no ending programmed in.
---- He has a second colour palette/model, which you will see in the Seth vs. Seth fight near the end of the video. The palette is "incorrect" and is somewhat messed up, as it lacks detail. It's probably unfinished, as a 2nd model would not have been required in this version of the game considering that he is a non-selectable character.
---- He second colour palette/model operation seems to be flawed, because if he faces left, the lighting/shading is normal. However if he faces right, he is almost completely dark. You can see this in the Seth vs. Seth fight near the end of the video.
---- When you reach the Final Stage, in the pre-fight cut-scene when he looks up to CPU Seth, he appears to have a female stance/pose.
---- His portrait image can appear on the character select screen perfectly.
---- His Rival opponent is Abel, and he is fought against on the Training Stage background.
---- His neutral jumping Fierce is the extending stretch strike. This was changed for the SSF4AE of him and beyond.
---- The Arcade version of SF4 is the only game in the SF4 series where he is an unplayable character.
===== SETH TRIVIA =====
---- He was originally named as "Cain", in contrast to Abel. This is referencing to Cain and Abel, the first two sons of Adam and Eve.
---- He was eventually named as "Seth", after former Capcom senior community manager Seth Killian. This was decided because it is also another reference to Adam and Eve, which in this case Seth was the third son of Adam.
---- His nickname is the "Puppet Master".
---- Seth's design resembles many other characters from other entertainment franchises. Such examples include Geegus from World Heroes; Dural from Virtua Fighter and Doctor Manhattan from DC Comic's Watchmen.
---- He appears in Project X Zone using Dural and the Tyrants from Resident Evil as his minions.
---- He is somewhat reminiscent of the Cycloids in the Street Fighter EX series. In fact, Cycloid Beta in SFEX1 also uses special moves from other characters, just like Seth.
===== About Arcade SF4 =====
This is the very first version of SF4 which officially debuted into the arcades in 2008. The roster of characters is somewhat small, but that is to be expected for the first game of the series. The console ports featured an extra 6 characters - as well as Seth and Gouken being made into unlockable playable characters.
