Come to think of it Laura is in some way similar to Ryu in the sense that she inadvertently becomes a wanderer due her desire to get stronger (just like Ryu) and her passion to spread her style of martial arts. I like how they mirrored Ryu and Laura training together in this trailer.

Well, Capcom said SF5 was released 3 years early. I guess they weren't kidding. Sony really wanted that early release and look it where it got the game.

yeah but that is not a good marketing strategy...not in a world where people want thing "now now now" I mean look at all the other fighting title: MKX, King of Fighters, Killer Instinct (Killer Instinct was finished I don't want people saying it wasn't...they IMPROVED upon an already finished product), Tekken 7, heck even the SF EX game that is being made by another company was starting to look better than SF V...because it genuinely did a better job and won't release until it was FINISHED. the simple fact is when I first got SF V...the only good thing going for it was the gameplay, graphics and some interesting new characters: story was short to none existent (some times being more in cut scene than gameplay) and the only other gameplay there was...not counting online...was survival...which was literally repetitive as fought the same characters over n over...there was no randomizer to who you fought (so that got old within a week). now as for online...fatal flaw...it was better...IF IT WORKED...I probably got onto online like three times long enough to play a match before the message "sorry we lost connection, returning you to main menu" popped up. at which point it sends me back to the main menu for no reason. so I try to play offline...and get this...one time I was playing OFFLINE...the internet must have lost connection and I was in survival and it decided to put me back at the main menu to let me know "internet connection lost, returning to main menu". at that point I was about ready to rip my ears off...I wasn't even online and I couldn't play properly...I swear to god they better have that internet issue fixed when I buy arcade edition or else. and arcade edition better just be a nice, offline function.

The Faceless Frog Yeah I can see what Capcom meant a couple of years ago.They wanted the game to be delayed more to make it a full game with all the characters in it.But Sony pressured them to release it early to bring in money.Fuck man now I wished I would of waited back in February when it was released or when the real release date was going to be.Damn.Dont I and everyone else feels stupid for getting hyped over an unfinished game that is now going to be a full fledged game.

Pat No, unrelated, nothing to do with past, it didn't happen this way. In the past, Ryu was in "Evil" form when he did the shoryu on Sagat, Sakura was just a school girl, Cody was in the prison, Falke and Ed didn't arrest Ryu. That's a meditation about the future, not the past, just... please, never try to premeditate about something ever again, write only when you're super sure, your assumption is terrible, my brain almost exploded by reading your statement.

Hey, I thought about this really well. What if we had guest characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra? Heroes and villains. Any character who could bend. I don't care what any of y'all say, those characters definitely have the makings of fighting game characters for sure. Here is my list. Have you all noticed that at the beggining of the trailer when ryu was meditating he doesnot have a burn mark on his face but at the end when his meditationis finished he has the mark on his face. He got that mark by akuma in an imaginary fight. THIS IS BEYOND SCIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I know the first jump Ryu did with Sagat was more of defending himself but it kind of looked like he was about to do a Shoryuken, of which he'd then follow up with another one. I can't help but be reminded of Messatsu Goshoryu, something that Evil Ryu could do. And I think the first time they suggested Ryu starting to tap into the Satsui No Hado in the Alpha versions of the story was when he gave Sagat the scar.

Great trailer! But why are we missing so many characters?! Ken, cammy, necali, fang, vega, balrog, juri, guile, karin, ibuki, dhalsim AND bison?! I get sagat is a universally liked villian and you want to show off the newcomers but you showed characters that arent even out yet. exactly...this is what I should have got for my £50 at the start...I was pissed and ripped off. there was no sign or information telling you "hey we fu£4ed this game up...don't buy it" I almost threatened to sue Capcom. anyway long story short...I'm glad they have at least updated this with more gameplay, arcade edition and more characters...because I do love SF as a whole...the series is great...I just think V insulted the series by being the only fighting game in like....history...to never have an arcade mode. its like some Japanese guy came into the room during the discussion on making the game and took the cover of the game and wiped his ass with it and made a smile like XD

FML: WRONG killer instinct...actually FINISHED their game properly before releasing it...unlike SF V the epic poo pile. the later seasons added to |Killer instinct was not something they intended to do originally but because people wanted them and they had the money they did do it. also SF V had so many bugs upon its original release...like the one where if you aren't even playing online but your internet is connected and you lose your internet connection...it takes you back to the main menu and interrupts your fight...WTF.

Raymkkk: yeah but the difference between KI 2013 and SF V is that ONE was honest and one wasn't. KI 2013 admitted it wasn't finished and got progressively better: more characters, more stages, better graphics, better gameplay, more ways to play. whereas SFV NEVER told us it wasn't finished...there was no warnings of this...not anywhere...we just bought the game and felt buttfu£$ed and ripped off. I also might add KI got better much faster than SFV...SFV has been around a lng time and has only JUST thought it would be smart to release the arcade edition...that was something should have been in it from day one.
