Street fighter 6 is ahead of their time with the Ost , when ever ppl hate the Ost that lowkey means they're on the right path musically and the ost usually ends up becoming legendary yeears later when ppl finally wake up. My favorite stage in SFV was "Bustling Side Street." Downtown street aesthetic, jamming OST. This looks to be like that, and more. One small detail I love about MCDT is that more NPCs crowd the background as the rounds go on. Like the fight has caught everyone's attention. Good stuff.

@@blaze6477 yeah, too bad the game fucked up every single crucial point of entry in every aspect for literal years though. :/ This is awesome though! (So far.) 5s beta changed weird arbitrary things and did it drastically and often, these two beta rounds have been some of the most fun fighting gaming I've had in years. And it seems like the changes and feedback they're taking aren't crazy nerfs or buffs, nah, it seems like they're leaving these things up to a more naturalistic community driven meta. Turns change constantly, no anime combos twice and your dead bs, everyone is always negative except for one normal, you can't waste all your resources, ya gotta make sure of spacing at all times, and the best part? Netcode and matchmaking are so good and fast, I had to turn off ranked settings to even navigate the lobby in both rounds of the beta. 9.5/10 so far I'm not even kidding. Sure, that can change, but dude it's looking good. During the 5 rollout I remember being like... "This is... Bad?" And I loved 4. On release it was an unfinished broken 6/10. I still don't even like Championship edition. It's a finished game, but too little too late and built on shoddy foundations like v system and crush counters. Characters are actually fun to play and expression is here again. So I had to agree with this comment and share the hype. It's been super fun so far both times.

Because not all of the tracks especially the character themes hit like this. Dee Jay, Dhalsim and Manon are the only other ones released that are a groove. The other ones don't even put you in the mood to do anything but sleep.

Well, the character themes we don’t hear all the time, so they put less effort into them. The normal stage themes and their transitions we hear a large majority of the time, so it makes sense they go all out on them instead.

I love how the three big fighting games seem to go for a very specific musical ambiance. Street Fighter 6 is very groovy and Hip Hop oriented, Mortal Kombat 1 seems like it will have a more grandiose and epic vibe to it and Tekken 8 goes balls to the walls with electronic (and probably metal) songs.
