It is a thing in certain kof games where even without max mode Terry can specifically cancel power charge into certain other special moves. Sometimes he can even cancel round wave into other specials.

- That's sick that they reference the Pao Pao Cafe from CVS1 with the same dragon statue. - This version is largely based on his RBS/2 version and less Garou or CVS2. - Terry hasn't been seen to do his backhand (f.A/f.HP) - His HK animation is from his Garou close st.HK. - His cr.HP here is based on his KoF (down forward C)/Fighting EX Layer (cr. HP). - Terry's usually uses projectiles to force people to interact from full screen and in this game, in combos which is cool.

I wanted to point out some things about this comment just to understand it more clearly. What do you mean by (F.HP)? Terry has his "defensive attack" as his F.A too in the fatal fury series which is more like an invincible anti air. As for the kof series he has a backfist in some games and his overhead (a button that's actually shown in the trailer) in other games as his F.A as well but I don't understand the F.HP part. About the "close ST.HK" i believe you got the far and close HKs mixed since the close HK is more of a vertical 2 hits kick. To finish; the cr hp you mention looks more like his real bout fatal fury command normal rather than down forward C, since his down forward C from KoF looks exactly like his "defensive attack" (F.A) from the fatal fury series as well. The problem is that if the level 2 follows normal scaling rules it does a lesser 40% minimum regardless of your combo scaling where lvl 3 is 50% so if that is the case it kind of throws a wrench in it. Who knows, maybe a unique trait of it is that it has 60% minimum scaling or something. Hopefully the cool idea can be optimized for the Triple Geyzer. Maybe it does slightly higher or equal damage (the raw damage before scaling) to CA, but just requires an efficient combo route to make it worth it because of the 40% scaling? It also doesn't seem like the OD power wave will clash with projectiles just based on how low to the ground Luke is before he comes in contact with the hitbox, which seems much lower than the average fireball.

Not sure exactly how it works in SF, but a fireball's hitbox and it's collision box for interacting with other projectiles don't necessarily have to be the same.

Imagine seeing a Tekken Guest character and they can go in the Background like Terry in the Fatal Fury Games do to the fact that Tekken is move side stepping do to the 3D gameplay plus it will be SF X Tekken all Over Again.

As someone whos very invested in SNK currently, I think capcom did a great job (probably because the devs rlly like SNK titles, especially fatal fury). I'm a little bummed about power dunk being a target combo considering it actually has varied utility throughout games, but I guess they stretched modern mode to its limits. Buster wolf being counter-intuitive from its past purposes is a little odd, would have preferred if geyser was lvl 1 with the add on triple geyser super meter and buster wolf serving its traditional purpose as a fast lvl 2 super that blows up projectiles (or maybe launches for a combo if juggled into MOTW/COTW style) but regardless I think he'll be fine on release.

For some who don't know Terry fighting Ken is a reference to Capcom Vs SNK 1 and 2 when Ken give Terry back his hat back in there fighting intro before the match starts an also I'm guessing that Terry fighting Luke do to the fact I might be wrong that they are known to have Earth like Powers?

You might just be joking around, but that's something he always says. He even says in Smash Bros Ultimate right before using the Buster Wolf. It's funny regardless that his go to line is "Are you OK?!" before blasting you point blank with a gigantic burst of fire. "Do you mean know that I have 3rd degree burns covering my whole body? Not great, Terry!"

If you mean the lady on stage with the guitarists, that's Roxy (from Final FIght and part of Abigail's crew in his SFV story). She was a palette swap of Poison in the original game, with orange/red hair, so they look almost identical
