It took two months, but I realize that Akuma ain't as strong as I thought. He relies almost entirely on breaking opponent's DG with fball because demon raid alone is good, but not hard to contest. Question is when will I stop losing to him.

I'm not super high in ranked, but I definitely see a lot of Akuma players zone out with fireball. They may shimmy and attempt st.HK to start combos. Try and poke them out to dissuade the st.HK, and use your anti airs to cover any Demon Flips or jump ins. Anticipate the Teleport Command Grab and use your longest normal or fireball to counter it, he's not invulnerable when teleporting. I see some blockstrings attempt to open you up with his overhead kick, so keep that in mind. Burnout gimps his offense, so keep pressure on him and throw when you can.

Hey Dudes ✌🏻 I started SF6 a few days ago with Marisa. She hits like a Truck, but she is so lame and her anti-air seems to be not so good. Is she okay to learn the SF6 mechanics, or should i play more Ryu? I enyoy to watch this tournaments 😁👍🏻

Ryu will take you further and will probably be more enjoyable to learn with. Marisa is about two touching your opponent so it can feel a little lame. But honestly pick whoever you think looks cool and if you don’t like how they play go onto the next. It’s all about getting time in the drivers seat 👍🏼

if you think she feels lame its probably not for u man. If you are new i would recommend trying around to see who you find the most fun! All chars in this game are viable for sure :)

Yes, anyone is fine to learn the mechanics (except maybe sim). Play who you think is cool! It's true that her anti air isn't great, but "not great" doesn't mean "unworkable", it'll just take some time to get used to (especially knowing when to use her air to air target combo), but that's just part of the learning process. wdym she's "lame"?
