Street Fighter Duel - New Tips/Understanding Scaling Importance/Hidden Global Stats

To make things easier I screen shotted all of the characters I have. And placed it all in the discord SFD section as a thread. I don't have every character ofcourse. And I tried searching for the homepage for SFD China it no longer exists. I have no idea why but it's a 404 page now. And the ingame wiki doesn't have scaling on it. So the only way currently to see it on characters is actually to have them. So from here on out I'll get the core roster people I'm missing in events. So we can at least have the scaling on all of the Global characters. So when Bison and Vega rerun I'll pick them up.

100% agree with the scaling thing for tanks. I just drew Makoto, but don't have the right gear for her to make her survive the first Super Combo in a fight. So I'm sticking with Abel, as I have the right gear for him to let him survive that first Super Combo and then shield up and get healed. Once I get the gear and her stats/level up there, I will make that switch. Great video and great insight, thanks for the honest content; especially the tier-list comments, I agree. So few of the list makers truly understand the stats, growth, gear, synergies and more. Keep that Street Fighter: Duel content coming!

Yes Abel is my best tank. It helps that he is same type as mad ryu some he gets his leftover gears.

I won a match and game straight up said Battle stats validation error and wouldn't let me proceed even though I won. Than I beat floor 185 that has two Roses, Zangief, and Decapre. I beat it and it said Battle stats validation error and wouldn't let me proceed.

Mannn the other SFD youtubers (not trying to start drama or anything) are giving wrong advice and/or poor tier lists. I mean they're good at whaling and talking I guess. But their strategies and knowledge are not there. You got good info man, also helps having played in CN previously.

You're on point with the tier list bs. Day 1 on global and so many KZbinrs and websites have very different tier lists. As you mentioned, it's an idle game and none of these bums realize that they're still in the early game despite all the whaling they've been doing in the cash shop.

Yea its just that they didn't put the scaling on Global's UI. But it is infact still there.

Thank you for the depth of the explanation, its difficult when they decide not to show us the ratings. This does help my understanding. I'm with you on Tier Lists, what I look for is what characters are beginning, mid and end game. My favorite type of characters are those ones that are future proof of sorts. As power creep enters the game I like characters that have abilities and or skills that will scale with the game as it progresses. I'll keep watching your vids and by all means deep dive as much as possible I gravitate towards that style of content. Thanks again! - FYI with your knowledge of the game I'm all for characters that are in now and as they are released in the game your opinion on the characters that will remain good throughout.

Not related to gear but I just find out the that the rate to summon M.Bison without any characters on ur wish list is 0.016 but if you fill all the boxes across 3 elements it will drop to 0.005!

I am stuck on floor 24-40. It is a huge dps check with Zangief, Elena, Poison and Bison. I can't kill them all before time runs out.

So I think people are liking B.gief is cause of the interrupt strategy found to help people pass 9-40 and 10-40 way below their power level. He can stop the enemies from getting their supers off if timed correctly. I hope he isn't the only one

Hey, about that Chinese version, what are those 2 energy bars at top, like sushi and blue drops? I assume they are required to enter a stage, is that how global version will be ruined or it's exclusive for Chinese only?

Sushi is stamina its really just there because they didn't remove it. Stamina barely ever goes down. And the blue one is co-op energy that you use in Co-op stages its a second form of stamina.

In the China version are any of the B ranked characters viable at any stage in the game? Have you leveled any of them up to use in actual content or just as food?

Gear is simplified in Global. I don't think we actually have much variation sets in Global yet.

Tier list: If you get Bison on global you win. Immunity, Invincible. You have to have 20k power above Bison to beat him on global right now. Is MH Ken an element or Special?

So Global doesn't have specialized gear or ways to boost specific stats on units, at the moment. As of right now it seems all the gear has the same stat currently for each type of gear.

I couldn't do it until I built up my Makoto to survive. It took two days a only focusing on her and the gear. Once she could survive my dps took care of the rest. Mad Ryu and Combat Guile.

I wrote to the customer service about a bison adjustment the first time I fought him. He is just broken. 2 . Or max 3 revives should be enough.. ..in my opinion 2.

I got a fragment of Infernal King Strike EX-Move. Since you probably know from CN server, what does it do? Its fragments aren't even available on Learning.

My presumption is that scaling info will be unlocked in a future update. Putting too much info on new players could turn them off to the game if it's overwhelming. Thank you for showing the info!

What does speed do in this game? Is it the frequency of attack? Or how fast they move? Or both?

Also i dont understand how a character in cn version can have two 2 slot moves.. or lets say guile.. guile in cn version has two 3 slot attacks.. how is that possible?

Usually helps you get first attack. And in some cases how fast you get super meter.

I showed that last night. In Cn they have a true damage combo path. You need to do a base combo first. And depending on who you have and what they have. You can then do the True Damage path the second combo route.

Thanks for the great info on gear system Senpai Scion. They released the rough copy of the game and not the current CN one. They want as to do baby steps and I’m okay with that but levelling up characters skills is long Becoz of how expensive it is and it’s locked behind spending and there is no stage to grand for it repeatedly. Please correct me if I am missing something about levelling characters skills thanks

Well the big thing is the breakstone economy doesn't match the rest of the game. So that will cause walls starting at lvl 80, 100, 120, and 140. So you aren't doing anything wrong. There is just a minor resource imbalance.

In global right now you can't. And my bad on yesterday I didn't notice the scaling isn't visible in Global. That is the reason I made the video today. You can see if you place different gear on different characters. That your power jumps differently. But outside of that there isn't a visible rating Global.

Didn't you say in previous videos that Ken was good to tier up and was better than Ryu, but going by scaling Ken has no S rank, but Rye has S rank attack, so wouldn't that make Ryu better?

Ken's kit in China makes him good. He has a building fire stack DOT that is the highest in the game. It wrecks bosses and gets you high damage rewards. If you can keep the stacks up. If the stacks fall he is basically mid tier. Ryu base is basically a bad DPS/tank not really great at anything.
