Two questions, is there any reason why you double-tap most of your inputs? And how would I consistently get combos out of double-tapping e.g. C.LK + Hadouken.

Helps with the timing, use double tapping for tight links, but not 1 frames. Most people double tap often to get "warmed up". Only way to get it consistently is practice and patience.

I'm playing this on the ps classic with a blue mini fighting pack .....and for some reason with the Allen trials I cant for the love of God get past mission/trial 8 ... jumping HK crouching Mk , Rising Dragon .....is it because I'm using the ps classic controller you think or is it because there is to much lag on ps classic ? ......I hate it sooo much that I cant get passed 8 and I know the rest I can do but for some reason preforming the jumping heavy kick pushes the dummy so far the medium kick a little bit further and by the time it comes to rising dragon it either turns to fire force or its just a little to far away from all the force if the kicks .....any tips on maybe getting it right?

My only advice would be to try holding down+forward=df (both directions at same time) on d-pad instead of just down when your doing your crouching low attack before the Rising Dragon special. With your thumb mushed on both directions (down and forward) From the start of the jump in as soon as you leave the ground of your forward jump. Then continue with your air attack and landing ground attack while not letting go of down forward. All while keeping pressing down forward, instead of holding down back or straight down. Then when it comes time to perform said dragon punch input, let go of down forward and perform your dragon punch motion. Experiment with different motions that the game accepts as dragon punch motion inputs. Like sometimes after immediately letting go of down forward, a quick quarter circle + button will work. ( SFIV ,SFV it does work like that.) or often a simple forward, down + button after releasing down + forward can trigger dp moves. Also after holding down + forward, and then quickly releasing try doing dp motions just starting from forward, down, and then barely finishing down forward at end with your thumb. Instead of reaching the feeling of that full down + forward. Usually if you go to far forward on the last down+forward dp motion, the game will recognize that as a double quarter circle forward input for a super move! I get those fire forces too, but it happens a lot less cause of what I explained above.

@Henry Shakelford I just tested what works for this exact game. Just press down as usual regular. The dp motion from a crouching state is down, forward, down back, down, down forward + Button. Hold the punch button by the way when you press it for the Rising Dragon or the game will auto cancel into a Fire Force after the Rising Dragon hits, like 90% of the time. My other comment just was trying to explain that often down+forward before a Dp motion can avoid unintentional quarter circle forward inputs from happening.
