I remember I played a lot with Garuda. At that credits stage where you beat the shit out of that dummy, I used to do a 99-hit infinite combo that required 2 supers: the one that Garuda jumps with spikes around him, and in the air, I would do his helicopter-like super. Before the dummy would fall, i'd repeat over and over, until I got the cue from the music that the credits would end, I'd do the 3-bar super in which Garuda ends up spinning with a sword in hand, obtaining a bunch of hits towards the combo. Good times.

An excellent game the early PS1 era good time stuff is always the library the arcades the selections the freedoms the Golden era of gaming indeed this was an excellent Street fighter the syndrome involved though the two Vegas at the end 😆😆😆👍

Truth be told, this really wasn't THAT bad as everyone made it seem. I think fans were kind of turned off by how little it was promoted, and while I think fans eventually got used to the quirkiness and frequency of new characters from SF3 and up, for this game, it was probably a little of a shock to the system. In order to test the waters, so to speak, they should have relied more on the familiar characters to let the fans mull it over, and then when they made sequels to it, THEN start syphoning in the new characters. I don't think that the fans also knew how to receive the sudden wackiness factor in a Street Fighter game with the special movies and animations and knocking people into space. I dont think that fans understood it as mere symbolism yet. But there is something so comforting about the art style and background. Garuda's stage for example, just something so nostalgic about it, even at the time.

i cant beat this game on defult and i cant on hard mode. i can beat first guy on hard mode on arcade and ive beated 5 on 5 team battle on hard mode too few times. i dont remember if i won in vs mode against hard mode ai.
