nah, Ryu and Akuma are not the same persn, even because Akuma is a mosnter ;) i think Ryo and Akuma are connected because of Ryu's father, and therefore Ryu's little brother is too. that thing that happens to Ryu is the dark ado. in the end, Ryu controls it and even goes to fight Akuma.
