I believe the super turbo Japanese version is just as hard as the north american as long as they are both on max difficulty. There is a bug in the north american version that makes it always on max difficulty no matter what you set the dips to. I have played a lot of the Japanese version but only a little of the north american.

The Japanese version is fundamentally different in terms of I can actually get through it was no stress on max difficulty. The one we got it takes me like 50 tries 😂... I've played alot of both, the input reads are so bad and I'm sure the A.I actually does more damage.

I've been playing a lot of super street fighter 2 turbo on fightcade 2. You ever play on there?

I did play fight cade for a while, haven't in ages though. I was thinking of getting back on but not had much time as of lately 😕

@@TheUrbanArcade Fightcade 2 has gotten some really useful updates in the last year. It works with runahead and there is a built in trainer, you can practice most games while waiting for a match.
