There are some other versions of this intro on youtube, but I uploaded this in HD (DivX6 1080 - 1920x1080) quality with AC3 5.1.
In the battle scene with Chun Li and Crimson Viper, with all the red color around, it gets a bit distorted, even when HD is on :( That's youtube compression for you, oh well.
Now that's finished processing i can see that my pc, that is an AMD 3200 with GForce 5200, can barely handle that quality Oo!
In flv format (without HD on) this video is about 11 and 15 MB respectively for the 360 and 480p resolutions, while in HD 720 and full HD 1080p it's 31 and 53 MB respectively.

I remember being here in Asia, seeing grown ass businessman stop in their tracks, slackjawed in front of game stores... because it was back. Street Fighter was back. Shit was a wild feeling.

You make perfect sense, don't worry. And yes, this is in my opinion as well, the best intro in a fighting game. My nerdgasm would be, a street fighter game with a good story, because besides this awesome intro, sf4 gives you very little story hints, that was my single complain about this game.

In my opinion the original Street Fighter 4 is better than the updates (Super, Ultra). In SF4, there are only the most iconic characters from SF2 and SF Alpha, the new ones are great, too (except Abel). The updates have more second-class characters (Makoto, Dudley, ...) and SF4 has the best music at the roster where you choose your fighter.

Alot of folks say this is super cheesy or whatever but when this dropped all of my Streetfighter nostalgia came back and I LOVED this. So many little eggs, Abel grabs Guiles leg, NOPE double roundhouse! Gouken pinning Akuma with that kick, NOPE teleport! C-Viper thinks she's hard, NOPE Spinning Bird Kick!! All the nostalgia all the things. This intro had it all and was an AMAZING reboot for the series!

I grew up on Street Fighter 2. Street Fighter 3 was cool but wasn't the same. There was a time where it felt like Street Fighter, and fighting games period, were honestly dead. It didn't feel like they would ever come back. Until this. This fucking lights me up every time and look at the fucking fighting game REVIVAL we have had since then. Street Fighter 4 dropped in 2008 and it lit the torch for so many other fighting games to come. I love it.

This one bridged the old technique, with new technology. SF3 didn't do it well. The newer ones I can't really enjoy, they changed the fighting scheme in SF v Tekken, for example. Then there are those that have hidden DLC characters. You get to buy a $50 game, but it's not the whole game.. yeah, it sucks, man. This was a complete, and fulfilling game. Probably one of the last ones.

Years later when i was finally able to get the Play 3 and the game and started to play, the circle was full ❤. The Volcanic Rim music in the second half is kind of an "arranged mix" since, when you listen to it carefully and compare it to the Volcanic Rim Stage's own track you can tell it sounds slightly different.

[marbardan] tell me about it. I was about 12 when sf2 turbo released for the super Nintendo. And I had to pay about $90 for a game made of simple sprites, with no trace of 3D whatsoever. I will be 45 when apophis passes close to earth, and we find out if it hits it or not. And 52 when it passes by again. It's crazy how fast time passes by. And after all that time we still don't have hoverboards, true VR, or AI that will fix all our human faults. It just sucks getting old man.
