Akuma was always one of my most wanted characters for SSB after Ryu and Ken join. Here’s how I would do Akuma’s reveal trailer, we see Ryu, Ken, and Terry fighting against some of the villains in the roster one by one but by then they are struggling and then Ganondorf appears to finish off the fighters. Within the shadows we see two red eyes glowing alongside purple aura, then zooms/runs with the teleport move and hits Ganondorf with the Wrath of the Raging Demon completely destroying him in the process and Ryu and Ken are shocked and the kanji in Akuma’s back fully shows on screen and the text says: “Akuma strikes wrath on the opponents!”

@@AndersonTenecela oh I had a thought about that. Announce a 3rd season of DLC characters and a season of Echo Fighters as well. Then have a reveal trailer showing Ken in a rematch with Incineroar. Ryu and Greninja join the fight 2 on 2, and they knock out Greninja. The pokemon trainer recalls Greninja and sends out the first DLC character, Rillaboom. Standard showcase for Rillaboom and it goes back to the 2 on 2 fight in the stadium. Then the lights go out and you hear a deep voice say "fools." The roof blows off the stadium and the first echo fighter drops in, Akuma! He starts to wrecks house and they show off how he is different from Ryu. He should also get 3 different final smashes.

Capcom made Akuma's defense/health low to ballance off his beast-ness in everything else he has very powerful moves, great zoning capabilities, great combo possibilities, some of the best mix ups and set ups in Street Fighter history, and a teleport. As an Akuma player i have to say it just wouldn't be fair for everyone else if Akuma had all of these beast capabilities and had the defense/health of Zangief ( Street Fighter 4 ) or Nemesis ( UMvC3 )

Yup, Oro is an old man, (he moved to Brazil with a friend in the early 1900's and his first appearance is in the 90's) but he has a very strong hold over his Ki, meaning that he has psychic abilities and physical strength and speed that surpass nearly all other fighters in the world. He intentionally holds himself back (like Cody and Akuma do) by tying one arm behind his back while he fights. And he is said to be around the power level of Shin Akuma at full strength. He's basically Yoda.

That's funny, because Akuma's Ashura Senkuu is essentially the same thing. In fact, in the Street Fighter EX series, they animated it as if he just slides around you, rather than through you, like a real teleport. Ogre could almost be as strong as Akuma, but the difference is Akuma has come back multiple times and has only been known to lose one fight, to his brother. Ogre made one appearance, got roflestomped, and then peaced out so Unknown could take over. True Ogre would be another story.....

@HiryuMK Personally, I thought the slow, subdued nature of it rocked and how much the strings stood out over the rather tame techno beat. Made it seem a lot more like facing some kind of calm-minded demon rather than the over the top UNST UNST UNST ORCHESTRAS, GUITARS EVERYWHERE that has been going on with his more recent themes. I still like this, but no Akuma fight will ever feel as badass as the CvS 2 hidden boss when you first hear that music and see his intro animation.

@BlackCladGolbez To me, S.Akuma's CvS2 theme strayed furthest from his original Super Turbo theme. His CvS2 theme's subtle (and rather minimalist) approach made the theme sinister and calculative. It was a great theme, but I was intimidated not by the music or his intro, but by the reputation he's had as Akuma in past games.
