I had a cop helmet with fold down visor as a kid. I got out the markers and drew the HUD elements so I could ride around pretending to be Streethawk. Can only imagine how much the neighbours used to laugh!

This was a great tv show deserved at least three seasons rather than one. This along with Knight Rider had great 80s music and a charismatic lead actors David Hasselhoff and Rex Smith. They made those shows work.

I agree. Poor StreetHawk came in 1985 and the car chase/ big action era of TV died in 1986 so while it started strong, it arrived on the scene too late. All the big action shows died in '86 except for the A-team which managed to survive one more year

Some thing to do with scheduling again Football so I recall, not the only show that got killed as someone was dumb enough to put it up against a key interest programme of the very demographic they wanted. though some suggest putting any show aimed at teens or 20's on a date night was pretty stupid in that period.

I just heard about this show. What a rip off of Knight Rider. Could they make it any similar except for a motorcycle cycle instead of a car. They even used the same "Turbo Boost" sound effect. I can't imagine what it only lasted 13 episodes.
