Tesla doesn't have many options, Porsche options are hella expensive and labor, gas guzzler tax etc. So Plaid under it is like $99k out the door or less, and the 992 9111 turbo s is close to $400k after taxes, tune and modifications.

Hi big Thanks to Jamie for allowing me on, Big sorry to all, I let the biking community down with an un prepared bike and not ridden more than 40 miles this year and none anywhere near the rev limiter, last summer I ran 3.83 100 to 200 on stock gearing and stock length, I was going to turn up like last year, but Jamie was initially trying to get me to race 1900bhp lambo and a 1600bhp es Porsche, but on the day they couldn't make it, so decided to stretch it, on the eve of the races riding two hours in the rain any grease on the bikes gear linkage had washed off leaving it sticky when trying to use the quick shifter in testing making the bike not change properly risking the gear box dogs, so decided to go manual shifts that was hard to shift, plus could do with an oil change, anyway should have done one or tests before and not as many as I actually did, my clutch was done before the roll on races and the 1st standing start killed it for good. In testing I ran two 9.4 sec quarters before all the races, they are on the dragy leader board if anyone wants to see. Also dragy was slightly slower higher times than the V box we used in the day. I'm sorting the clutch taking off the grab handle for my wife, fixing the shifter and down a few on the front sprocket, also use launch control and I will be back to do it properly, as for laying down flat on the tank it's a tad scary has lots of grooves to get your tyres in and holes and bumps to deal with it's far from ideal,

I nearly fell off the sofa with excitement until i heard the clutch slipping on the 10R. Fair play to the rider for carrying on and using the clutch. The Kawasaki launch control system lets you do 3 launches and then needs to cool down for a while. The Woolich race map lets you do more hence the fried clutch plates after trying to boss those missile like cars about. Well done to all 😊

Electric makes full torque at zero rpm with none of the drivetrain losses. Thats why straight line they usually do well, especially 0-60. It does.....the 2016 ZX-10R did come stock with KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) as part of its OEM electronics. It also came stock with traction/launch/wheelie control.

He wasn't using the quick shifter because the clutch was toasted. You can hear it in the video. The bike goes right to redline but he hasn't hit redline speeds yet. It does it in nearly every gear.

The thing which is rarely mentioned with Tesla’s and other electric cars is they have hardly any drivetrain losses. So comparing crank hp in an ICE to the Teslas hp figure is pointless. As are the power to weight figures, I’d guess the Tesla has a better whp to weight ratio which is what matters. Apologises if Jamie’s car is rated at whp… :)

Intereasting to watch. I am a bike nut but also have a Plaid. Bikes are more challenging to launch even stretched. Be interested to know what the state of charge was for the Tesla as well. That has a direct impact on the performance.

As you got a porsche that is in my opinion can be used as a daily as the tesla you wouldnt. All 3 are amazing machines. @blazesmooth5573 I daily my mkiv supra, daily doesn't have to mean family 4 seater. Not everyone has a family, etc. Just a partner. Or even no partner. A stripped out car with just two seats is not a car you can live with. The road noise, having the comfort that it would have from the factory. If I had the choice of a stripped out tesla vs. full interior, I choose the full interior. If I wanted a stripped out car. I get a pure race car for that and a daily with that power if I wanted it. But everyone is different, and that is what makes it all for the better, if we all had the same car, etc. It would be boring. I just see if you're comparing a car that has been tuned and had all the comforts for being a gt car and taking to the track. Or a car that lost all is comfort, so driving it all the time without the interior makes no sense. I wouldn't enjoy the car as much on the road compared to on the track. Sorry for the stupid long message, lol, but that's just my opinion, and I do understand where you're coming from. For me, I couldn't have a car like that for normal road use.

As always, sick video! And thats the strangest set up bike and biker I have ever seen. The bike: Obviously verry powerful and fast, mapped, streched, but with no quickshifter?! No rear seat, but a rear passenger handles, that interference with the rider tucking in. The biker: not bad clutch less shifts, but there was not a single clean run. Builts very powerful and cable bike, dosent tuck in almost at all, wich makes huge difference (the bike still some how did 3.7 100-200, wich is evidently that it is verry strong). Good starts anyway! Very nice!

bike needed an oil change quick shifter would not work so ran it without, i run two 9.4 sec quarters in testing, clutch was done by the time races happened
