WOW Pinguita my brother . I did 2 decades. UPTOP & I meet him in Franklin in 93 also PAPO his boy from The streets & WE became cool I just had got there from Clinton was there since 88 so that was my first Medium & I told him that his peoples Emiliano the other Cabala & Fidel was still in Clinton so we was all in the annex side of the jail & he was working in the yard Shack giving out the recreation equipment . I was on his baseball team . What I Liiked about him was that if he didn’t feel U he would let U know & he was not the type that just because U had the bag he would be your friend. He didn’t care about that he rather stay hungry or with out nothing & not ask U for shit . & I respected that a lot I still have pictures of me & him & PAPO Franklin . It’s crazy because all the good peoples I meet in my two decade journey has passed away . That’s why I thank god for blessing me every day & I been home 20 years now & never looked back . Freedom don’t have NO price & I was fortunate to come home to my family especially my parents who thank god are still alive . Because that was one of my biggest fear . To receive that bad news in a place that I don’t have any controller of I never wanted to experience that feeling . But thanks god these brothers are in A better place & the suffering is over 🙏 RIP Pinguita 🪦 & my other bros Ally AL & T45 & Chulo. Julio Caballo. Pirata. Breeze. 🪦🇵🇷 🇩🇴but never forgotten god bless 🙏

(Roxy) i worked the coat chek. That niggah had crazy carisma, and never had to wait when i saw him. He was always very thankful. Your tribute is God's work too. Thankyou for blessing us with it. Its was very uplifting and what we all need to witness. Praise God! This will bring people to him and bring honor to johnny at the Pearly Gates. God works his miracles in mysterious ways. Amen, amen! I didn't know Pinguita, but I had heard about him on the 1980s when I lived at 535 W. 135 St. and worked at 125 St. May he rest in peace, Mike. The reason why some people from Hamilton Heights went to 143 was I think because it was the only Junior High School on the Upper Westside was JHS 43 at 127 St. and Amsterdam and most of the kids there were from West Harlem (La Salle Projects), so after the beefs between WAHI Dominicans and Moyetos (the Pologrounds and Colonial Projects) in 1970-1972 I have lived in Washington Heights & Hamilton Heights. I knew Diablo, Jose & Pacha from the gang called the Saints from 135 Street, the BALL BUSTERS from 137 St. evolved 10 years afterwards. I went to PS 192 too when I lived at 520 West 139 St. My teacher was Ms.Sanders. I also went to JHS 143 when I lived lived at 177 St. BTW: the club on Broadway on 96 St. was called Club Broadway. I also knew Papo 184, Jose 183, Baby Face 183, and Smily 170 from the Savage Nomads. I empathize with Pinguita in the video because he spoke about repentance something I went through myself in 2001.

I'm from around the same way I'm from the Bronx right across 207 bridge. I would like to see you shine with your podcast but to be honest with you the first thing I thought was they do boasting and bragging on his own podcast about himself You're not going to make bread like that homeboy. Report on other things that happen in our area from back in the days until now but talking about yourself people don't want to hear that I changed it because of that.

Something I always heard of Pinguita was that if you were Dominican? Dude had your back no matter what. And the area you talking about 135-147 is called Hamilton Heights. 🫡
