YHHz marked cards. They all have numbers on the back of it and he false shuffled the deck and both decks are evenly the same in each position. That's my guess

all good guesses but its a marketed effect but it deff is easier then you think

Its one of those decks with a lot of repeated cards. You make them say stop when they're in one of those repeated cards. Then, on the other deck you know where that card is. I think you can do that with svengali deck. Am I right?

no it's not. It's an effect from Andy Nyman called The Code. there's no repeated cards. all the cards are different and legit :)
