"can you practice somewhere else" but they sure did love to show up to my recitals and tell all the other parents "That's my boy" when I played my heart out and got attention from other adults.

Being on the street so much I would have thought the kid might have learned a few things. But I would be wrong thinking that I guess. When Boy opens a door for him--- why not open it a bit more and hop on through. 'Guitar? Well... yes, maybe....ah...... next time???!' Seemed like a SNIVELING and stupid response, to me. I did not like this performer, personally. Just because of his snotty reaction. Had it been me, ' you want me to do while standing on my head!!? SURE! I can do that!!! ' You have to RECOGNIZE your OPPORTUNITIES whenever/where ever they occur!! And make the MOST of them when they occur!!!
@EverAppl14
@EverAppl14 2 жыл бұрын
Weird that George misinterpreted this situation so severely. Daniel clearly meant "No one in the streets seems to care whether I play guitar or not". Additionally, Daniel seems like a really sensitive, nervous person himself- the type which George should easily empathize with and would probably get along with really well on a personal level, honestly.

@@anonoumos basically. It seems that boy George didn't hear / understand what he said correctly. Boy asked "can you play guitar?" the guy replied "yeas I can, but no one really cares" which most people took as, people do t really care if he plays guitar or not. They either like him / see him, or ignore him / just walk past. Boy seemed to have taken this the wrong way though, thinking the guy said / meant, nobody cares about playing the guitar, while again, the guys more talking about his own personal experience playing it.

I usually don't post comments but I feel like this needs to be put out there. Delta is such a great coach and a great person. There was a part when she had to choose and she said she was going with the person she thinks needs her the most at that moment. She knew she can make a difference in Daniel's life. She helped him not just in music but as a person as well. And their duet at the end just speaks volume to the journey that both of them had. The song was lighthearted but it was emotional on so many levels. Especially when it was shown that Daniel did not win in the end. Even so, Daniel came out a totally different person. He smiles more often and carries himself with confidence. That, for me, is a win. Kudos to both Daniel and Delta.

But that does not make him star quality in any shape, form or kind!!! He might sing ok but he had/HAS no 'Star' quality. None! No one would go out of their way to go see him. Let alone pay money to hear him. He is NOT likeble!!! Barbra Streisand, on the other hand, can draw a crowd. A HUGE CROWD!!! Always could!!!! Always did!!! Still does!!!! This guy???? Can't fill a small pub, with paid attendees!!! HE IS NOT, SIMPLY, VERY LIKEABLE!!! MAYBE TO A FEW BUT NOT TO VERY MANY!!! HE HAS NO 'IT' FACTOR. NONE AT ALL!!! SO---- GAME OVER!!!

I dont understand why people are saying that Daniel was being disrespectful. Like no he wasn't being disrespectful he was just saying that people didnt really care if he played guitar. He plays on the streets and I'm guessing people just didnt pay attention to him playing guitar rather than playing the piano. I also understand that people make mistakes and that sometimes misunderstand something but that reaction was just so melodramatic from boy George, like he could've asked Daniel a follow up question like " and why do you think that?"

@@patrickperry8951 No he wasn't. You definitely are a fan of George because I've seen you reply to every single person who said he was in the wrong. Which he was. The kid wasn't being cocky. If he plays guitar and nobody pays attention to him. Compared to him playing piano and getting lots of attention and praise for his skill in the piano rather than his skill on the guitar. Then what does that mean if you look at it from a logical standpoint?! NOBODY CARES THAT HE PLAYS GUITAR. He also didn't know that George cared if he played guitar or not. And even up to that point. It nobody cared before and he asks if he played. Then that's exactly how he should've responded. Because up until then he probably got no praise for it or questions about it. He wasn't being cocky. He was actually being insecure or else he wouldn't have insulted himself by saying that nobody cared about his guitar skills that he spent so long to develop. This comment section is full of idiots I stg. Go do something more productive with your life like idk.... have one 🤷🏻‍♂️
