The only thing is that a piano (or any instrument) that is out of tune is like fingernails scratching across a chalkboard to a musician , and worse depending on how out of tune it is. Dr. K is good at compensating for a bad piano but it must be quite irritating at times.

Classic Elton John has been my favorite for decades, but I love most all of his music. Then again, I have been an Elton John fan (actually an Elton John nut 😊) for years! Dr. K is the only pianist who is on par with Elton, and you have to be top notch to be classed with Elton John.

Very good player with own style. Our former music teacher at Gayaza High School in Uganda Miss Janice Hobday also used to play the piano with that kind of energy and also sing beautiful. She is back in the UK and we are ok better off musically because of her.

Did you notice how they all eventually got quieter? He didn't play louder - they got quieter to listen. It's an old teacher's trick. Don't talk above the rowdy kids. Hi Linda, I keep forgetting the name of that last song he played but it is my absolute favorite of all the songs he plays. I know it is quite a well-known Classical piece. Since I can’t remember, I call it ‘The Waterfall’ piece because the higher descending notes sound like a gentle waterfall. I don’t know about most people but that song practically makes my soul depart from my body and rise to a heavenly plain because it is so beautiful!!! I’ve never heard anyone who plays it as well as Dr. K does. I could listen to him play it for hours! So remarkable!!!
