My new favorite channel! Thanks for such amazing content, my 2 fav things motorsports and photography. I'm an old wanna be landscape photographer, dabbled in some outdoor motocross pics. Never realized how much scouting and planning went into a race. I could watch this stuff all day! Bravo

I was there for Saturday. Never had been to Detroit before but it was so pretty and I would definitely go again. I got to take pictures from the General Admission Rooftops and the one across from the Double Pit Lane was so cool! I saw you at the IMSA autograph session, it was such a cool experience for my first IMSA race.

As a Portuguese, watching your video and finding a Portuguese pilot at minute 29:55, Filipe Albuquerque, besides loving photography, is super super cool! Good job, keep up with your videos and I'll keep watching 👌

@@jameypricephoto I go to a lot of races, mostly rally but GT also sometimes The main problem with IMSA is, it's at least one ocean away, but who knows, maybe one day I'll be able to attend one race 🤞

Forty-minutes of mostly "talking head" vlog and it's absolutely COMPELLING! Love seeing inside your life Jamey! Question: how do you cull your pictures from thousands to the handful that the team wants "right now"?
@jameypricephoto23 күн бұрын
@@edmontontangobar4991 thanks. We’re working on it being less talking head. More b-roll. I’m doing my best as a content creator but it is HARD. As for culling, I use a program called photomechanic that I can look at thousands of images and go through them quickly.

Doesn't having your fingers inside the lens hood on your long lens cause blur or flare at all?
@jameypricephoto7 күн бұрын
Nope. Not unless youre shooting straight backlit and it catches my wedding ring. But it's like a telescope. It's looking so far past my fingers or anything in front of it.

I’m a corner marshal. Belle isle was way prettier green space-wise, obviously with no big skyscrapers. The racing was SO much better there too. Huge props to the Detroit region SCCA and the whole team. The event is run incredibly well on our side, but when there’s only one kind-of passing zone, what’s expected? Glad to discover you. Possibly interested in trying to make a side hustle from shooting track days and such.

I dont think Formula one needs spotters since they have almost all the camera feeds at their disposal and have car tracking that is good enough to spot traffic and such. But love the content you put out.
@jameypricephoto23 күн бұрын
@@DJRobSunset formula 1 doesn’t need it, but other sports car races could benefit, especially when you have multi class racing and lots of traffic to deal with. It’s mandatory in imsa and nascar.
