Welcome Back! This is Matt and I love turning trash into CASH. It is Nacho Stuff but that doesnt mean someones trash can't equal cash. You see, many people have abandoned all kinds of random treasures and toss them into the trash. We take these lost valuables and figure out a way to make a buck from them. Sometimes it through resell, other times we might just scrap it. Either way, we are turning free stuff into cash. I prefer the curbside scene but occasionally find myself in a dumpster or two. Join me as I try to turn nothing into something.
I mostly consider myself a scrapper or repurposer of things that people have decided to discard. Some call it picking while others consider it a true treasure hunt. But at the end of the day, like most scrappers, I am trying to reduce our waste while lining my pockets a little in the process. Each piece of scrap metal, item of curbside treasure or piece of dumpster loot means one less piece going into our landfills and that makes me happy. Somebody went to rehab or got kicked out or both. You don't spend all that money on paraphernalia to throw it in the trash can. Certain things are easy to figure. Like you find a whole bunch of dog stuff. That means their dog passed away unfortunately. Every time

They are a jumbled mess and I know nothing about them. Right now I am just sorting by series to try and look up which cards I should be looking for.

Such as? Some of the things have plastic on them but that is normal. I only get dinged for them in the non ferrous area but I have to decide whether I should clean to get the extra or just let it go.

@@nachostuff in Los Angeles we go for every dollar I don't do it anymore but I used to do it I may have to go back to doing it real soon I started working with a guy does house cleaning out doing a resale. But back to your question things like refrigerators just take away money from you as well as plastic dishwashers. Ask him if the scrap yard if this isn't reflected in your receipt. Some Scrappers work hard to avoid anything t i n at all. They want what's called number one. That's clean hard metal. Number two is mixed steal and t i n. Number three is t i n. And then if you decide to put plastic in with any of that they will knock it down by half a cent a cent per pound. And they will tell you they can't do anything with that they got big dumpsters there to dispose of that plastic to the dump. Not any recycling center into the Earth. That's why no one takes anything that's contaminated who wants to make top dollar. When metal was ridiculously priced we took everything it just didn't matter but it's not like that anymore. A refrigerator is essentially a whole bunch of t i n and styrofoam those poor guys at the scrap yard breathing up till they're dead😭

The record is not for 1981s (mine is using 1981s) The record for the most coins from a single year is currently is 80,773 coins (up from 55,000 something when I first started) and belongs to Yang Shunfu (China) in New Taipei City, I have about 8,000.
