i am sure the other scrapers love you,,i am amazad at what you leave behind, itsssss really not cool, either scrape or stay home. this will be my lst video of you.

Jeez not cool?! Stay home?! What amazes me is how people disregard what I have saved from landfill. Cup half empty people will never be happy. Don’t be a cup half empty Elaine, it’s yuk bro. The cups half full. Thanks for watching 🙂🤙🤙
@matteliano4542 жыл бұрын
Elaine, I try to see everyone's point of view. I have seen some scrappers who constantly say " I'm saving metals from going to the landfill" and then leave stuff behind because it's too light. Never once have I heard this man say that. Most scrappers, while they enjoy doing what they do, do it for a PROFIT also. The items they do bring in ARE saved from the landfill and recycled. Here's an analogy. Have you ever adopted a pet from a shelter? Why didn't you adopt them all? Did you ever pick up a piece of trash on the street? Why didn't you pick up the trash on the streets for the whole city? You can't get it all. But the stuff you can get makes a difference. Sorry Prophet, didn't mean to speak for you. Just interjecting my opinion on this public forum. Keep doing what you do. Make some cash while making a difference.

Thinking about American and Canadian scrappers and the typical items they get. Interesting how I don't see many in the Aussie street piles. The items I am thinking about are hot water heaters, ovens ( gas or electric ), wire shelving, and bed frames.

When the financial year ends, ask the scrap yard for a yearly account. No so much for what money you made, but it will break down what you brought in. I only do it a little, but it surprises me when it tells you that you saved 10 or 20 tonnes of scrap that would have only gone to landfill.

Poly, you may want to check with your scrapyard to get the totals of the weights of what you sell. Over here they'll print it out and gives you a total of everything, coppers, aluminum, shred, every category. I used to do it quarterly for tax purposes. Great day and nice payday. Enjoyed 👍👍
