Jeez there's a lot of people on here talking crap about what Nachos yard should or shouldn't take, I would think by now if they were upset with a bit of excess wood or fabric from chairs they would have put their foot down. If other peoples yard want things stripped clean then that's their perogative but Nacho has already mentioned multiple times that his yard doesn't mind it as they do pay less for that exact reason. If you have a problem with it then go watch a scrapper that strips everything down completely rather than sending hate for no reason, there's no need for that.

These are people that wouldn't say this to his face. They could move on but no, they have to be negative and demeaning when someone doesn't agree with them, so they feel important. Mind you ,they are sitting on their A$$ while watching this ,not being productive at all. Living their life though him. Sad and pathetic really. I learn alot from watching him even though I am also sitting on my a$$ but I am becoming more productive in my scrapping because of him. Grow up haters !

I just love the people who help you and me too to make life easier!!!! A young man walks his dog in my neighborhood every day on his lunch from work and he saw I had some weeds that needed trimming and saw I was in a wheelchair (from breaking my leg and arm from falling off my mower) at my front door getting my mail and we talking about what happened he offered to help and he sure has helped. Said he's not doing it for money but I surely will give it to him and a few things he said he liked because he has made my days easier and now a new friend !!!!

I look forward to watching you scrap. It is fun and now I also get excited on the days I know I'm scrap collecting. Even when it is hot out I enjoy doing it. I rented a cheap 5by10 storage. This encourages me to load bigger items since the storage is close I can store it that week and have like 3 to 4 loads every Saturday and make way more in a week. Plus the extra running I only use maybe 1 gallon of gas. Still working on getting a truck.

@nachostuff2 жыл бұрын
Easy peasy. There are tons of licensed people that will buy that unit from you. You can actually also scrap it yourself and sell everything except the ACR - that is the part you need a receipt for. Again - people with a business type account will buy that from you and turn it in their stuff. Not only is it about asking but it is about building relationships. That law was created many many years ago to keep people from stealing AC units and scrapping them. There are plenty of work around for those of us that are simply trying to recycle.

You know Matt I've been watching you for quite some time matter of fact I was really praising your work but lately I've noticed that you cheat you turn in a lot of plastic at your scrap yard when it's only supposed to be metal I don't understand it anybody else has to turn in metal and you're turning in a lot a lot of plastic via vacuum cleaners and stuff like that I don't understand how you're getting away with it it'll catch up to you
@nachostuff2 жыл бұрын
My yard accepts vacuum cleaners - therefore I bring them. When I find many - they get many. Every yard is different - mine happens to take items that many other yards do not. No one is getting cheating. not quite sure why people all of a sudden feel that I am out to get extra from my yard as if I do not deserve it. I bring anything and everything that is acceptable to them - plain and simple.

@MC-3422 жыл бұрын
Why don't you stop being so critical and demeaning just because you disagree with the way he does or doesn't do something?
@nachostuff2 жыл бұрын
My yard does not have an issue with wood as long as it is not the bulk of the item. Much like the chairs that everyone complains about or the TVs. Every yard is different and you can bring what they allow. I am mindful to not bring wood when it is doable. This to me was not doable. I am not going to spend my day removing screws just to keep my load wood free when my yard dopant have an issue with it.

Thanks MC - I will listen to what people feel but that does not mean I have to agree. Appreciate the support,.
