'Street Shred NY': Angelo, on Blazing Guitar!❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Guitarist Angelo graciously permitted me to film his virtuosic performance of a passionate instrumental ballad. His searing guitar music pulled me away from Bayard Street in NYC's Chinatown and drew me to the corner, on Mott Street, where he was busking. As I got closer, his fingers were a blur on the fretboard.

Hell yeah, I 💯% agree. He makes that setup work very well there at the corner of Mott & Bayard streets in Chinatown -- and on the path to guitar heaven.✨️ Angelo's passionate guitar had me doing a 360° spin halfway up the block on Bayard Street. When I reached his spot, he'd just finished the song that entranced me. Then I tucked a donation inside the shopping bag that's on the left -- to Angelo's right. I really needed (not just wanted) to listen to more from this man's guitar; I desired to see his fingers work that ax. I didn't know if he'd allow me to capture his lyrical fire on video, but I asked. He said yes, and I felt grateful, for in my heart I knew that this artist was the real deal. Thanks for taking the time to watch & listen to Angelo perform, and for commenting here.😊

Hi again.👋🏼 Yesterday, guitarist Angelo posted a comment to this video of him, and he graciously replied to my reply. However, this morning when I checked the comments section to see if he had commented further, I was totally surprised to see that all of his comments had disappeared! 🤷🏽‍♀️ I have no idea what happened, and I feel sad that Angelo's comments are gone with no explanation from KZbin. Please access Angelo's KZbin channel, which is: streetshredny. That way, you can ask him directly whether he has a page whereby you can purchase CDs of his music. I don't know if his music is available for purchase in other formats, such as iTunes, but please ask him. Thanks again for your comment.😃

They often don't understand, either, that musicians live & breathe music as well as craft it -- or let loose improvisationally. Music is organic. Music is love & passion, fire & desire, an ocean's ebb 'n flow, thunder 'n lightning and other elements of Nature. Music can heal like a medicine, to a certain degree, and, for many folks on their final days on earth, is their last lullabye. When I heard Angelo's searing guitar, I did an about-face in the thick of summer's heat.↩️ Drenched in perspiration, ears perked and camera in hand, I went sniffing toward Mott Street like a bloodhound.🎼🎶🎸❤️‍🔥👂🏽👄 After he finished the song that he was in the midst of surrendering his ax to, I tucked some currency as donation into his tote on the sidewalk. He thanked me and I gestured my gratitude to his artistry and to his mastery of the guitar. I made sure to ask Angelo for his name, for the title of his passionate song (it's untitled; an "instrumental ballad," he said), and then I humbly requested permission to film a video of his next performance. He said yes with a smile, began his wicked-fire ballad -- and I felt my body leaning into his powerful aura. All of that sticky heat I'd been suffering dissipated. It was as if Angelo drew that heat into his guitar and released that fiery energy through his magnificent song.🙌🏼 Much Respect to all Musicians and the rest of us Creatives✨️💖✊🏽💯✨️

@@gabrielapaulinho1luv No need to be sorry. You have passion and that goes a long way. I would highly recommend you check out Truefire or get some lessons. It will help you to advance to the next level. I used to play like you so I get it. I bet even you get tired of the same old and tired scale runs. Most all songs will sound the same. I had a very limited musical vocabulary once too. Learning simple things like inversions, triads, the CAGED system; how to bounce between the Major and Minor Pentatonic...in the same song, make you sound better and more musical. Tip: E.g., A Major Blues, you start out on the I in A Maj. Penta, but when the song changes to the IV and V chord, you can jump up to the A Major Penta that lives just a few frets up. You go from your pinky finger on A (low E string) to your index finger on A. Simple things like that make a big difference. Also, slow down- let the music breath like a fine wine. Less can be more. Record yourself now and again in a year, after taking lessons. You will thank me! I am not a musician either, but I have been playing a while. I still take lessons. Here is someone I aspire to play like. Hear the difference of someone who has focused on learning. He is not much different than you and me except for his focus- not flashy, but solid.
