I just purchased a similar set of saddlebags and I have to say that the best, most reliable option would be to use zip ties instead of the included laces or shoe laces! I have previously installed “throw over” saddlebags using my method and have had great results!! However, I covered the exposed zip ties underneath the straps of the saddlebags with “duck tape” in order to protect the paint on the fender from being scratched once I mounted the pillion seat. I think you guys are absolutely awesome, and I am a customer, so I thought I’d share a cool tip for your viewers that you could pass on to them. It’s perfectly fine if you mention me in your next throw over saddlebags reviews. Thanks guys! 👍✌️

Supports are highly recommended to keep the bags out of any important / moving parts on the bike. These S&S bags will work with most supports available on the market.
