This has such an old school huntertuned vibe, but the tuning part is so much more advanced. We've always known you know what you're doing, but it's awesome to see closed loop getting incorporated into your arsenal.

Nice dude! I've been street tuning with closed loop for a few years now, works great! I want to get it tuned on a dyno to see how close I got it LOL. K20a2. Thanks for these talk n tunes, they help keep me fresh and I've learned a lot since I've been here. 🤘

PS You are correct, the Speed Sensor % is for things like different tire diameters. My K integra is around -10% to get it to match a GPS.
@stinky155522 жыл бұрын
Hey so do you ad the % for speedometer in speed correction on kpro or what ya do. I have a 96 Integra K20a2 with 2002 civic SI trans. I need to figure out a voltage fluctuation.
@ivtec4fun552 жыл бұрын
@@stinky15552 what size tires? You have to use a tire size calculator, enter the original cars tires size and get its revs per mile. Then do the same for your tire size. Once you have both, divide the two. Example: Trying to use a 15" is 875 revs/mile and 17" is 820 revs/mile. 875/820= 1.067. So 17" is roughly 6.7% rev/mile slower rotation, so then adjust ECU to -6.7% speedo to the ecu to compensate using a smaller tire, so the speedo thinks its spinning with the original tire size. I'm no mathematician though, I just play around with numbers and try stuff on the car. Try -8 and then use GPS on your phone to see if Kpro is reading the same as your phone, then dial it in.

I've been doing this a bit in theory on my hatch for a few months now. Seems to be doing good. Closed loop is the way. You taught me something about the Long Term vs Short Term. I always figured < 30% Short Term was okay because the ECU handles that. Any greater, and it doesn't, and shows up on Long term. So I looked where it was close to 30%, or over like 20%, and bumped it. Seems to work enough that it automatically handles 4PSI from a stock basemap.

Love my Accord but not a lot of things I can do with it except boost it. Wish I would have went a different way. I hope u keep making more how to vids. I'm running Ktuner v2 which is pretty good. I'm still trying to learn it.

10:25 I think the Fuel-Map follows the Torque-Curve. The Injector-Duty-Cycle follows the Power-Curve.

The fuel map would be completely flat if it followed the torque curve on this car.

You can make an aem wideband function for closed loop on s300. Just have to change the resolution and reaction of it in hondata. Have a google bro. I randomly came across it a few years back.

I just spent my tax return on a Haltech Elite 1500 w/ OBD1 Honda jumper harness for my 96 Civic. They have very nice base maps too. With their fueling, there's a long term fuel trim table. The idea is you leave closed loop fuel on and drive around then look at the long term trim table later. You'll see the long term trim map populate w/ percentage corrections and there's a button in there that says "apply values to base fuel table." And that's all you do. Once you do, long term fuel trim map zeros out again. I see Long term fuel trim on your data logger screen, but it isn't doing anything. Can that be enabled in K pro? Honestly never used K pro. Everything's on closed loop w/ the Haltech. Idle control, fuel control, knock control, boost control, etc. And you can set corrections for say boost control. Like ethanol vs trailing wheel speed vs gear for example. You need to tune on a Haltech someday!

every preset cal I've seen on s300 has a different rpm index for the high and low cam maps. when I've tried to copy and paste between them it doesn't really work since the cells aren't representing the same rpm. do you edit the rpm index to make them the same for high and low maps?
@HunterTuned2 жыл бұрын
No I just get the shape made with copy paste then add to the section to equal where the rpm was higher if that makes sense
