In Brazil we call (veículo leve sobre trilhos VLT) light rail vehicle calling light trams The like historic streetcar we named "Bonde" 🚋 in Brazilian Portuguese

Great video. Thanks for shooting inside & the driver view. The cars look a bit like the LRV in Newark NJ. Perhaps the same manufacturer?

Nope not at all. The ones in Newark are made by Kinki Sharyo while the ones in SLC are made by Siemens.

These are actually the same model as the type 4/5 LRVs in Portland! Different from NJ's though.

A normal a bit laud tram - whats do special about it??? JUST wandering why Is it located in the Middle of nowhere... It doesnt make sensei! Normal city Is buid tram lines in the areas with HIGH density of people - not like here in this video in the desert And left areas... Omg

It was actually built a long an abandoned freight rail corridor. They've also built a trail/greenway along the line as well. It serves a heavily populated area
